It helps for 'quick' follow-ups.

it's performing any action while holding down (which makes c stick work)

and dair is probably one of the worst choices to platform cancel with, because if you mess up it's pretty laggy.

platform cancel by holding down and up on the c stick, its easy and if you mess up it's not as punishable
