Totally unoriginal but whatever. He doesn't need the bulk to avoid the 2hko from double edge and can slack off to gain health as recoil finishes it off:
438 Atk vs 256 Def & 394 HP (132 Base Power): 162 - 191 (41.12% - 48.48%)

I want a rule where you can't counter a Pokemon with the same species of Pokemon.

At least use Slowking and attempt to not be one >.>

After reading over the rules again and seeing how it can be done in-game.....

That technically IS a legal counter, until someone enforces rules against the Ditto Glitch.

Which means thats actually a legit counter and has to be countered by someone.

Actually, I did a quick calc and Fire Blast 2HKOs Slaking even with Leftovers (does 60% max) and Houndour outspeeds, so that counter isn't legal in any sense.

I was about to counter it with a Slaking of my own. T_T

For Houndour:

Moltres@ Leftovers
Pressure/Timid
248HP/84Def/178Spe
-Roost
-Flamethrower
-HP Grass
-Air Slash

I outstall with Roost/Pressure (Dark Pulse does 43% max before Leftovers), and Air Slash can kill your subs, while you slowly die from LO.

EDIT: I forgot that Roost removed my immunity to ground, but it still works. HP Ground does 50.7% max, but Leftovers moves it away from a 2HKO, and my Pressure stalling still works.

Flamethrower does 61% max, after rain dance that's halved. I outspeed to set up rain as well, so after that I do a little bit of toxic+roost stalling.

When laws are instated with governments, they only effect what happens AFTER that law is made, not before. The same would happen here.

The current counter is a slacking with one move it cant naturally learn(Crunch) which at the end of the day is almost interchangeable with Shadow Claw anyways. Dont be a ***** about it.

Your attacks do pitiful damage. Sing is cured by Lum Berry, then misses the second time. Substitute blocks it anyways.
