Ive been playing with loop points trying to remove the silence during looping by changing the value of the sample rate. This is the comfy room over kongo.hps. I believe hps insert is responsible for the cracking but that might be due to what I changed.

Yeah Ive heard the newer programs are better, but this was already on my computer and I just testing out the looping.

I did forget to mention that this is 0.9 Test's BF music, not 0.9.0 Full which imo is the superior track (the current Crusade BF music scrounges in pain compared to the old one).

The one that is posted on this thread's original post, the demo links to a sick track but in game its awful and i replaced it with nyan cat temporarily thats how much i hated it

I am sorry you feel that way. I am actually one of the former audio developers for SSBC.

Afilion changed the track on the SoundCloud so the DEMO does not match the actual track. I should fix that.

There might already be on for this but this ones sample rate is around 40000hz and loops near perfectly without any silence added.

Yes, but no one has written a code to be able to modify every HPS volume. It wouldn't be that complex and that would be a fine injection point to use, but no one has done it.

Any HPS file downloaded here can go over any song as long in the game.
(As long as the HPS is named the same as the HPS you're replacing.. It's basically just overwriting a file with another with the same name and making the game load the new file it thinks the the old file.)

Hey, I'm having a small issue.. I downloaded "Mysterious" from Mario paint as a hps to use for menu3.hps but when i tried to put it in with GC rebuilder it said "file to import is too large". Can anyone help me? as far as i've heard, brawlcustommusics hps system is flawless, right?

Any HPS file downloaded here can go over any song as long in the game.
(As long as the HPS is named the same as the HPS you're replacing.. It's basically just overwriting a file with another with the same name and making the game load the new file it thinks the the old file.)

a lot of the HPS files I've downloaded from the brawl custom music site, and some of the HPS files in this thread (The Comfy Room as an example) have random popping, crackling noises when played in game. It's not a big deal for stage music, but for menu music it's really noticeable.

Is this a problem on my end, or do other people have this issue as well? I'm using 20XX.

In terms of Brawl Custom Music, that's how the original BRSTM was made. You can't fix that.

In terms of music in this thread, older tracks using the hps_insert method also produce this issue. You also can't fix that.
