Also, why aren't you looping your songs? Isn't that the point of a BRSTM? I mean anybody can make a non looping BRSTM without any effort at all.

Basically I'm just trying to make two points here.
1. There's no point in people having someone else make non-looped BRSTMs for them. It would probably take less effort if they did it themselves.
2. If you're making BRSTMs, it's always a good idea to try to make it right the first time by choosing a high quality source, and making a proper loop.

To everybody that just wants to make BRSTMs and doesn't care if the song just starts over. Just use this converter I made. Simply drag your MP3/FLAC/WAV/etc file onto makebrstm.bat, and about 30 seconds later you have a nice little brstm file waiting for you. It will even let you convert whole folders of MP3s at a time. (Double click makebrstm.bat -> option 1 -> option 1 -> type in the file type you want to convert -> win)

That part was directed at you, and I meant songs that fadeout and start over. I was just puzzled as to why you made some BRSTMs with up to two loops that just faded out and started over when the source song is one that loops.

Thought I might comment on that one issue:
I already know how to and haved looped quite a bit of songs for myself. Whenever I still make a request here, it's because I'm just using you it's because the song sounds like it'd be difficult for me to loop, I tried to loop it and couldn't, I couldn't get the volume right, or it's a song I really like and I want someone who can do it much more perfectly than me to do it. I could even do requests if I wanted to, and the songs seemed simple enough.

I usually prefer that the sound is not edited other than volume, cause I don't really like fade ins and outs. (Maybe I should specify that just in case from now on lol.)

My favorite porters (there's like 2 of you who stand out), can even loop songs that don't really have loops, like Marisa Stole the Precious Thing. I'm sort of a creative looper myself I'd think, although I try to avoid looping songs where I can't find a loop easily.

edit: Here's an example of a song I looped that has no real looping points at all.

moosehunter, I always double-check back here before conversions to make sure there are correct loop points. If no guidelines are given, I loop the whole thing. If they want a seamless loop, they can always repost it.

No. I could. I'm just not in a position to do it right now. I don't have internect access where I live. Heck, I hardly have a computer really where I live. I'm having to use the computer lab at this college to get online. This past summer I was back at my house where I could do this stuff, but college has started back, I have to live with my sister and brother-in-law, we have a hardly working laptop with no internet access where we live, and I can only get here on certain times. I'm just lucky today since today is Wednesday and I have just one class that's in the morning. I'm practically booked for the rest of the week. So I'm just leaving songs for you to do while I'm away and then come back for them later.
Once Fall quarter ends and Winter quarter begins I'll have more free time, we might have internet and a more reliable computer by then, and if not then I should be able to just come home on the weekends more often to do this stuff myself. So yeah. Sorry to bug you with all this stuff man. I'm just not in a position to do it myself yet. ^^; Not until late November anyway.

Hmm I just tried this method and I go through the steps and all it seems to do is just create a folder with no .brstm inside of it. First I did 1>0>then dragged it in. It looks successful and goes through but I have no file at the end, just the .mp3 that i originally had.
