Kyle is lilseph on Smashboards here. He's been around for a while and he's a 360 player. Probably one of the top Canadian players too. He used Nu in CT and now uses Lambda in CS.

I'm Brandon, but they didn't bother putting down my gamertag. Black Captin is a Hakumen player and Duskbringa is a Bang player. Tom uses Makoto, but since we didn't have DLC 360s for this tourney that had her, he used Hazama. Keith's a good friend of mine and he's burningpyre on Smashboards here. He runs the Alberta Smash vids section for us, and he's a Tager player. Shiro420 is a Taokaka player but he's probably gonna pick up Jin too. Kindaul...was a Tager player if I recall. I'm not sure. Actually, I dunno if I'm getting Tom and Kindaul mixed up, but either one of them played Tager too.

Lots of variety and we had a crew battle afterwards.

4 vs 4 Round Robin style (otherwise Kyle would have just wrecked everyone lol) Smash Bros. vs. Street Fighter.

After Melee ended and I got to focus on BlazBlue, I went 3-1 in set victories over Dusk, Black Captin, and Tom I think. Shiro won because I don't know the Jin match-up at all and got beat for it. ....**** I coulda gotten 2nd at this thing if I didn't have to go back and forth between Melee and this.

....buuut there was only 8 people so what does it matter. LOL Anyway, there ya go.

Once I actually cancel my 5D's to land a 6A, I'm gonna be a scary beast to fight against. I was dropping it so many times. lmao Belial Edge makes anything super hype when you pull it off.

I love playing as Taokaka and Tager.

Tager is one of the funnest characters for me to watch. For some reason I find it hilarious when he gets someone in a 360 and shouts "GIGANTIC TAGER!"

GGs Kuraudo. I ended up getting pretty sloppy and messing up all my 214's, I've played way too much today. >_< I completely lose my technicals if I play for too long at a time.

Also, Ragna vs. Hazama is a pain in the balls, because Ragna is a rush-down character, and Hazama can't handle pressure unless he has a Jayoku stocked, and I'm not good at finding the opening for it yet. xD

It's the opposite for me. The more I play and get used to lag, the better I get. But I wanted to message you and tell you that if this were offline, I wouldn't know how the matches would end.

If you noticed how I tried to follow up after my 5D to get a 6A, online and offline both I'm still perfecting the timing of that, and jump cancelling to get a Belial Edge combo off. I noticed you had so many combos starting up man but it's hard to stick them online. If we fought each other offline it'd be so **** epic with more combos landed! I still had a lot of fun though. You're a good Hazama that's got nowhere to go but up. :D

I rofl'd when my 5B hit through your Jayoku. Oh, and trolling that Mu-12. Such lulz.

Renkazan is HILARIOUS against MU, Lambda, Rachel, Jin, anyone who tries to do something from the other side of the screen. I grabbed Lythium's other half, Gaudeo out of his Jin's Ice Wave Distortion TWICE consecutively. XD

And yeah, I'd have to agree it would probably be better offline. We had like 0 bars lmao. I get 4 with Lythium, since we both live in NS.

I wish I could get a good connection with any of you guys.
My internet speed is less than it was last year due to costs, but it's still 10 Mbps.

I also feel that CS's online is inferior to CT's. Or maybe it's just my connection...

I get the impression that CS's netcode is a little bit worse than CT's, but it certainly isn't Brawl-quality netcode.

I play in ranked matches because once I get the timing down it's so easy to just spam 5D on people or get grabs off into Gauntlet Hades into 5D or something silly. LOL Playing in player matches is awesome though. More fun that way.

Yeah, Jack (KillLock) told me about that. It'd be really fun to see. If you come down, $5 MM of Ragna vs. Hazama? And another MM for Sonic and/or Ike vs. Marth for Brawl?

I would also gladly accomodate and house you guys from Nova Scotia. Spruce Grove is only 15 minutes outside of Edmonton, and I could take you guys generally wherever you wanted to go. But this would all depend on my financial status though, so I'd have to keep you posted in that regard.

Glad I'm not alone on this. Ranked matches aren't fun in CS.
It takes a long time to find an opponent. Once you find one, you can't quit.
If the opponent has a low connection, you have to either play or log out of your account.

I've been getting lag with Karasu along with one of my other friends who aren't that far away from me at all.
I'm getting a better connection playing my friend in SSF4.

Online in this game doesn't mean much to me. I can't even 3C after a frog sometimes, and I also get more blue beats than usual unless I'm playing Ragna, Tager, or Hakumen.

I just feel like online is a hit or miss right now with the connection. I'll get a somewhat smooth connection and then lag spikes will hit in round 2.

It's SUCH a sexy combo. I'm gonna land that in a tourney match one day and the room is gonna explode. LOL

I actually did that today against a friend (but a different variation of it). I inputted Black Onslaught after 5D, but somehow lag made it not register. Luckily my friend accidentally mashed Hakumen's j.D so I had time to input Black Onslaught again to hit him during the Hakumen's lag.
