i just met this player on PM wifi match-making, he goes to UBC apparently and seems like he is actually pretty good (even though it's wifi, you know...).

that's why we should do a amateurs bracket tournament. Like $5 or something.. so new players can have fun competing without getting 4 stocked only to quit the game like so many people do.

Well as long as there's like several people willing to enter.

although somehow we never have time, by the time singles finishes up the day is already over.

Yeah I'll definitely try to run an amateur bracket next tourney. The way I've seen it done at other tournaments is that they do pools for qualification to the main bracket, and when people get eliminated, they're automatically entered into the amateur bracket. I think this is a good way to keep from splitting attendance between the two events.

0-2's into ama bracket is how some people do it. Other people separate based on pools placing.

Yeah, that stage is pretty cool. I really like how they fixed the slope physics, and fixed Charizard a bit.

Well guys I have done this before, but this time it's for serious. I'm done with Super Smash Brothers. I have no time for it these days for pretty much what Micheal said (work, gf, other interests, etc.) and I have lost interest in the game overall (it was fun to play it a bit here and there for sure). I had a BLAST competitively with this game and meeting all the locals here and meeting people from all around the world! It has helped me developed as a person and the learning steps that took me to get as good as I am at the game.

Anyways perhaps I will see you around from time to time and check out how the smash community is doing. So... take me off the PR for I will be inactive and put Mike on there cause he deserves it.. lol. Goodbye for now everyone I will miss you all.

The 16th won't be a good day... there's some sort of province-wide card tournament at the venue that day. We had to move our Blawl tourney to the week after.
