I don't know who started saying that I quit melee(I know it was Paul), but my work schedule just conflicts with smash tournaments and stuff.

Since I'm self-centered, I'll mention it would be easier for me to attend things in Irvine if I had more notice.

However, I'll try to show up even if it's tomorrow.

Saturday's the best day for me, but any day besides Sunday and New Year's day works. If the smashfest doesn't work out for my schedule, I'll still try to drive to Irvine sometime before my break ends.

I only work mornings until late next week.

11-3 so anytime after 3:30ish should be doable.

Why me specifically? gonna show me the hatz?

Are you joking me right now? Anthony if you say you're gonna host a smashfest, can you at least dignify people are presumably your friends with a response as to what is going down? If we don't know if the smashfest is happening or not, we can't ask other irvine people to come because it might be a BUST (i.e. today). It also makes it harder to schedule plans, because the smashfest MAY or MAY NOT happen.

Smashfest seemed golden until paul said he might not come (aka not even definitive), and suddenly the whole thing is off without a word from the host. I'm sure you can see how this can be detrimental to any kind of get-together planning. I know you wanted a day where everyone could go, but today was honestly pretty close, considering no one was putting ANY effort into saying when they're busy or free.

Assuming this smashfest is still gonna happen, I'd recommend just asking people whether a common day like friday/saturday works better, and then putting the smashfest on whichever day works best, AND announcing it more than 2 days ahead of time so people actually have time to free up their schedules and whatever.

Just friendly suggestions so there aren't weekly flakefests.

You're the man of your area, Matt. You gotta man up and take charge in everything. Leave it to others and they're gonna flake.

It's more work, but to the victor go da spoils. And da women. ^.^

Betas will betas. Now's the time to step up to Alpha (Omega).

Did you try texting/calling Anthony?
I didn't, and that was definitely my bad, but for something like a smashfest where multiple people are attending, it'd make sense for the host to post about the details or whether it's happening or not so everyone can see it. It's quite impractical for everyone to have to call in and ask separately, and if it comes down to that, then it probably isn't happening.
