Working on it. If I can prove my worth through animation work, then there is a chance I will get in. I'm very passionate about the project, as if the last 5 months of streaming weren't already an indication. I'll keep you guys updated on my status. For now, everything is cleared up and they know that I didn't mean any ill effects to come of obtaining this leak.

Okay so

Occidental smashfest on saturday that I'm 100% going to cuz I need to get my laptop charger back. If you wanna hitch a ride then let me know.

Also, there is a a tournament in LA this sunday. Not too interested in it but I'll go if others want to go. The guy making The Smash Documentary will be visiting from the EC but that's about it.

Yo real talk, Arcana Famiglia had the worst finish to a build up i have ever seen.

And i'll go on saturday, and sunday if other people want too.

I hate Square Enix right now, they're porting the DS version of FF3 to PSP which there's no point since PS Vita is out, then they announced that Kingdom Heart 1, KH Chain of memories & Kingdom Heart 365 days (DS game) will be HD Remake for PS3. Where's the hell is the sequel to Chrono Trigger? Kingdom Hearts 3? Final Fantasy Verses 13? Final Fantasy Tactics 2? Or even Final Fantasy 7 HD Remake? I'm starting to dislike Japanese Video Game Companies more & more

Seriously though
the first episode they introduce arcana duello, there is some tension and the shows seems like it'll be interesting. And then episodes 2-11 just explains the background of EVERY character. That wasn't terrible itself, but sticking the whole tournament in the last episode was the dumbest idea ever.

Last episode sucked gigantic **** and made zero sense. The three strong older guys (debito/pace/luca) all get beat by Felicita WITHOUT THE BATTLES EVEN BEING SHOWN. So that makes me wonder
1. Why elaborate so much on their backstory and make them important characters if they lose in less than 2 minutes COMBINED.
2. How did they lose in the first place, after it's shown that they are experienced and can control their arcana powers (unlike nova/liberta), while felicita isn't even hinted to be powerful. They didn't really explain her wheel of fortune power very well, could she just CHOOSE when she gets to win? Because that's the only thing that would make sense, and if that's it, that is ******** lol

And then nova/liberta vs their respective role models were basically the same fight. Like...exactly the same lol. They fight evenly, get their weapon knocked away, look at felicita, remember what they promised her, use their power to get their weapon back and end the fight. Cookie ****ing cutter

And then nova vs liberta was ********, and it ending in a "draw" was the biggest cop-out I've ever seen. Way to have nothing happen in the end.

And in the end she doesn't even choose anyone. Like what the hell, love for her dad or something, are you kidding me?

tl;dr arcana famiglia BLOWS, but I'm sure some of you already knew that

I dropped it in literally 5 minutes. Good to know that it was the right decision.

Natsuyuki Rendezvous is really good though, I'll probably try to catch up this weekend.

I'm pretty busy this weekend so I don't think I can go to either smashfest/documentary tournament. Maybe the tournament, but slim chances.

Okay so I'm taking 20 units this quarter (5 classes), so I'm not sure how much I'm gonna be able to play

But **** it I'm going to try to become a master of time management. It's do or die and I've lost my appetite for failure.

waddup, there are quite a few melee players in Irvine. As far as people who go to UCI, there's a few of them but idk how many have come back to school yet. I'm sure you'll be able to get in contact with them at some point lol. You should contact Fly Amanita cuz I'm pretty sure he's back in Irvine already.

Also, lately we've been having weekly smashfests on either friday or saturday, so just check the thread and look out for those.

lol im pretty sure while I was looking for uci smash i found a bunch of tourney videos on a channel nammed "stabbedbyahippie"...but it said they quit...so I didnt contact them on youtube. im pressuming it is you nipple

here's a head count of uci students
fly (active), julian kao (active but never posts or goes to tournaments), spark (usually busy with school), squid (usually busy with life), shadow scourge (usually busy with clubs), connor (commutes and usually busy with...?), Kenny (no one ever contacts this guy for some reason LOL), perfected idiot (same as with kenny)


there might be some others that I'm forgetting but that's the core of it lol. Most the other irvine players don't go to UCI but live pretty close to it
