yeah, the zss thing wasnt going so well. i need more practice with her wall jumps. and im so used to her reaching deep with her recovery in brawl, it kinda feels like a nerf, and also her side B doesnt kill anymore, which is another nerf.
plus the small screen of the 3ds sometimes makes it hard to see which way my character is facing, which is why i often jabbed the wrong way.
I got that OP 3ds XL :p

See, I didn't think fox / ness would make that list, but then again, I have a wee little advantage over Ness. Fox, I guess I just haven't seen that many top tier Fox players, or encountered what makes him so high up there.

lol i don't think they are all that special my self since i feel that people are only attacted to these characters because of the polarizing effect of the previous installments top tier. i feel very differently.

I feel Ness is popular just because he has a reliable kill in back throw, and Sonic because his spin dash has wonky priority ( It straight out beats my forward smash ).

These matches feel oddly similar to the last time I was crushed by a Pikachu. . .

GGs! TIL that Rosalina's nair lasts a century and a half. Rosa's nair > PM Zard's nair.

Also Luma is literally the best bodyguard in the universe. But I had a lot of fun, hope to play you agian!

Haha, I guess that's one reason I gravitated toward the character. At least Rosa's nair is lethal on the last frame, rather than the first. I consider myself playing the character: Luma and Rosalina. Rosalina's just there to cheer Luma on really.

I just need to fine tune my gimps against Pikachu, it seems like it would make the matchup a bit easier. I think you had a better record offstage than me for those games, where that's usually my strongest place to be. Oh and of course, GGs! I definitely want to play you again soon.

Great games bro, It was a nice training for me and I learned a lot. gotta go, it's 1:33 already and I need some sleep lol
GGs

You roll way too much imo, I wasn't able to punish it as much as I would have liked to due to input lag. Every time I would approach you would start rolling away. I would work on fixing this habit because good players will eat up this habit.

Looking for someone to play! I'll probably be mainly using kirby.

I guess I just don't see it. Yes, the PK thunders are annoying, but the weakness of Ness is still his recovery. Once folks get super comfortable with their characters ( Wii U launch ), I don't see Ness living too much passed 50-60% in most cases because of gimps.
perhaps but that can be the case for many characters to be honest.

i'll play you
Do you go f-air > down tilt > grab for a combo? Oh really, idk anything in this game is better, imo. I enjoy the faster pace a lot more. And the combos look awesome.

If you're talking about after forward throw at 0 percent I think people can escape it, the rest of the throws have no followups I know of. That's why I don't like kirby as much meanwhile many other characters have guaranteed throw followups and not kirby. *sigh*

Well I just tried it out the combo (fair (2 hits only) --> dtilt --> grab (if trip)) in training and its a guarantee combo. It gets progressively harder to do at higher percentage but it's definitely a universal one (works at even 100%).
You did it a few timres and I couldn't get out.

idk it might just be character-specific then because I have had a few people able to jump out of it before

Okay so I went to training on mario:

fair (only one hit) ----> jab-jab (to jab combo if they don't DI) is a true combo from like 20 - 50% ish.

fair (only one hit) ----> dtilt is a true combo from around 70 - 115 ish ish.

This only works on the ground.
