Damn. Forgot a few.The hyrule maze stages freeze on both dolphin and on the wii, not sure if this is a bug or if i messed up rebuilding the iso.
Surely. All feedback is welcome.this is freaking amazing! want us to report stuff that doesnt work?
That's a broken GCM. Rebuild.Um, I don't think this should happen, did I do something wrong? I followed the instructions and It does not work.. View attachment 82177
I think it has something to do with the game.toc, I tried Installing it like I did with 3.02 but, It crashes on CSSThat's a broken GCM. Rebuild.
In other news, I'm bringing back the failed Installer project.
Thank YOU. It's a super awesome remix. Your work is fantastic.
Yes, the Special Melee menu. I had a lot of fun making those game modes. Play them with friends and let me know what you think! I've basically only played Chess Melee before. Are the new game modes enabled?
edit: oops they are in the special melee menu
idk why i didnt check there
double edit: can we get some other characters like ' > < added to the name entry? maybe as the alternate to some of the numbers?
TRIPLE EDIT: is it simple to change the song name thats displayed in the debug song menu?
It's 3.1, which character-change-wise is the same as 3.2.1 (other than a bug fix for Gdorf or something, I believe).Does the training pack include SD Remix 3.2.1 or 3.1?
That's a good suggestion for the playlist menus. Replace your MnSlChr.usd with this one and let me know if it is what you were thinking. Press A to play the song.Sounds good. This is an amazing thing you have done. Honestly, the full release of this might be as influential to the post-20XX Hack Pack era of Melee as your original pack was to the pre-20XX Hack Pack era.
One suggestion I have (which may be asking too much) is to allow players to play songs on the playlist-maker-page.
Example: I am making a Pokemon Stadium playlist and I want to check out the SSB4 Team Flare theme before I put it in. I go to the next space in the playlist, navigate to the theme, and press X. The theme plays, I like it, and move onto the next song.
For SD Remix 3.1 changelist, it would be really nice [and less confusing] if the characters who don't get changes had a changelist page that said something like "No changes from NTSC version 1.0"
I am excited to see the stage hacks you have in store for us, as well as the other things that make 20XX so good.
Cheers!
Which Jigglypuff L costume? Is it freezing immediately when you hit L or does it freeze when trying to boot up the match? Does this happen for anyone else? Battlefield is the only stage I have hooked in at the moment. So, I made the 4.0 beta iso, changing only: the game code to 20XX40, the game name to SSBM 20XX Hack Pack 4.0 beta (making sure to preserve hex placement in my hex editor). When I boot it up in Nintendont, the screen flickers, and the game is in black and white. This doesn't happen with any of my other games (Notably 20XX 3.02). Does this beta force progressive scan, PAL 60Hz, or something?
EDIT: Changed my Nintendont settings to Force NTSC video, so no more black and white.
EDIT 2: Jigglypuff Left costume toggle freezes my Wii. Can't get Texture Hacks section of Debug Menu to work for any stage but Battlefield.
Try this DOLAre the new game modes enabled?

Not to be entitled, but i also really like the ' character lol. '_>' is an absolutely vital name tag
Sorry, this was for Jigglypuff's Green costume L toggle. When I posted this, it would freeze when I selected the toggle on the CSS. I rebooted and it happened again. I recall that I had the hacked SSS toggled before the first time. Trying just now, I have no issue loading the costume, so I'm not sure what happened. I tested all the legal stages.Which Jigglypuff L costume? Is it freezing immediately when you hit L or does it freeze when trying to boot up the match? Does this happen for anyone else? Try to search in the Debug Menu, the switch for Widescreen. Maybe it was changed accidentally, try disabling the widescreen.Noooo! I don't know what I did!!! I finally got the beta 4.0 working but it was a squished so everything was skinny and not stretching to 4:3 (on wii) then I went back to old version of 20xx and it's doing the same thing DX help me plz!!
YESSS. What a God! So stoked to try this out. And congrats man! Any plans for kids? :DAlright boys, it's time for some action.
20XX 4.0 Beta01.zip
EDIT:
Add these files to the download pack as well:
https://www.mediafire.com/?qgb7uolvux5c1g5
-------------------------------
The folder that unzips, "20XX 4.0 DL" will now be referred to as "20XX folder". It's contents will be placed into a vanilla SSBM root folder.
1) Extract a vanilla SSBM 1.02 root folder using GCR. Then close GCR.
2) 20XX folder --> &&systemdata --> Copy Start.dol.
3) Vanilla --> &&systemdata --> Paste and overwrite vanilla Start.dol.
3) Vanilla root folder. Completely delete the "audio" folder.
4) 20XX folder --> copy "audio" folder and paste in vanilla root folder.
5) 20XX folder --> copy everything in the folder except the two folders mentioned above. (So all the files, but not folders).
6) Vanilla root folder --> paste and overwrite for all items.
7) Vanilla root folder --> Delete all .mth videos (from MvEndCaptain.mth all the way down to MvOpen.mth)
--- vanilla root folder now equals "modified root folder" ---
8) Open GCR. Do not load the modified root folder from above yet.
9) GCR --> Options (at the top) --> click "do not modify game.toc"
10) GCR --> Root (at the top) --> Open
11) Select your modified root folder.
12) GCR --> Root (at the top) --> Rebuild.
13) Choose name of your ISO file and hit okay.
--> 20XX 4.0 Beta01.iso
I hope I didn't forget any files in the download...

This is FAR from being complete, but it's coming along alright. There is tons added and also things that have yet returned from the previous 20XX. The one really big item that is missing in this build is the P2 action commands (input spam, hold shield, act of shield, etc.).
Other missing / unhooked things off the top of my head
Debug Menu
- Missing Character Codes Menu
- Missing a Mechanics Menu (which some current items among different menus will be added to this)
- Missing a CREDITS MENU!!
- Texture Hacks --> Battlefield is the only one that I have written code for yet. Also missing things like Rainbow Shine.
- Item Codes -> Additional Item Switch, I think this isn't hooked yet. But monsters might be fine.
--> missing info pages for new mechanics, but they may be moved to an entire new menu completely- Extras --> SDR 3.1 Changelog --> no text screen for characters with no changes. Spacies have shines swapped and falcon is my experimental char. Shinesplosion for grounded down-b.
- Alternate costumes were the "latest" from like...February or something. You guys have made a lot of cool ones since then and some slots need to be updated.
- Random stage select toggle screen needs updated text. Stage select screen preview texts need to be updated for hacked stages as well.
Tons more.
-----------------------------------------
Go to the Hacked SSS by clicking D-Pad Down at the SSS. Hacked stage select screen #3 has been heavily neglected for awhile.
Go to the "Character Select Screen Codes" debug menu to see the user input options for that screen.
.lat files = L alternate costumesPlay the Special Game Modes.
.rat files = R alternate costumes
.sat files = SDR remix character files
.pat files = PAL character files (or change these to your own custom character files!)
3 Custom battlefields. Can specify the X/Y location and scale multiplier for each platform.
OH! And when the game is paused,
D-pad Up to reload music (only does something if a music playlist is active for current stage music)
D-pad Right to toggle on/off the in-game 20XX toggles and DEVELOP toggles--> keep clicking it to cycle through options @Kadano schmooblidon
- Magus physics [Achilles mod] are added as DEVELOP toggles. Same inputs from Magus' thread.
I whipped up memory card saving today. Let me know if there are any issues. Will destroy your previous file because I have yet to give the game a new ID/save file name.
Just go to the Debug Menu and read things. This post is pitiful. I have had a long weekend and need to go to sleep. More details later.

I already tried that it for some reason works fine if I run it in usb loader gx to dios mios by I would still like to know if you have any solutionsTry to search in the Debug Menu, the switch for Widescreen. Maybe it was changed accidentally, try disabling the widescreen.
