Thank you NYC Smash community!

As some of you may already know D1's house was burglarized back in November. His Wii, along with his Xbox 360, and all his games were gone. In addition, his dad's laptop and his lilttle brother's DS was taken also. This pissed me off, but in the end we realized there wasn't much we could do other than accept it really.

Eventually, knowing how close the NYC community is I took it upon myself to be a bum and go around asking for donations from people so we can purchase him a Wii. The suggested donation was 10, but if they didn't have 10 then I would accept whatever they could give, I mean c'mon it's donations you really can't get too greedy.

Anyway I wanted to make this thread to recognize some of the most awesome generous people ever in the NYC smash community. . I put how much money they gave so you can recognize who the cheap people are



In order of date given:

Silven (Datsa ME!)10 monies

Starzonedge -10 monies

Malcolm - 10 monies

Ninjalink - 10 monies

Hax - We purchased the Wii from him and he subtracted 20 dollars from the price as his donation

Matt (DMT) - 10 monies

Shin Bowser Meow - 10 monies

Mop - 10 monies

Miwa - 10 monies

Shinigami - 10 monies

Blackanese - 5 monies

Zro - 10 monies

Glitch - 10 monies

Q-Blast - 9 monies

Basic Sausage - 1 monie

Hax was selling the Wii originally for 200, he dropped it to 180, we made it up to 160 in donations and D1 paid the difference of that which was 20.

All of these people are awesome and now thanks to you guys, D1 has a Wii again.

I seriously don't know how to thank all you guys that helped me out!

This truly shows there's no other community the smash community.

Other communities can sh** on you guys, but I know if this happened to me in any other community I probably wouldn't have gotten such great resonses from you all.

After the burglary, I won't lie, I became a bit more morbid and more careful as to which people I should befriend...instead of not prejudging anyone like I used to do.

I even tried distancing myself from my own friends as well w/o even noticing it.

This definitely showed me there are still good people in the world. Some of you guys I don't even know all that well, and just know you from maybe a match or two that we played in smash, yet you guys treated me like family.

I love you all and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Every penny and dollar was really appreciated...I didn't even know Silven was doing this for me.

What a pal...what a pal.

i'm from md... but good **** silven for the idea and to the nyc smash community. my wii got stolen on Halloween, luckily a friend got me another or i would still be out mine
