I tried asking in the Q&A thread first with no luck, so...

Are there any code tables for modifying the text in the game put together yet? I remember seeing a code that changed item descriptions awhile ago, but I didn't see anything more on the subject and I don't have a USB Gecko or any knowledge as to where other text would be located.
Specifically, I'm looking into changing the names of the music in the my music menu and the ingame music bar thingy that pops up at the start of the match.

I know how to, just tell me exactly what text you want to edit (items, music whatever) and i will tell you what file it is in.

I've abandoned the idea of using codes because it's far more efficient to just replace the files on the disc, although I still haven't found everything I need.

The Brawl coders were lazy, it seems. Instead of having the music titles in one spot on the disc and grabbing them from that spot for everywhere else, they pasted the whole list across the disc as it was needed in a bunch of different files. Here's what I know so far:

menu2/mu_menu_main.pac: Contains the music names for the my music menu, the sound test, and probably other places.
info2/info_en.pac: I dunno what this one does, but it has the all the track names in it. I haven't seen any effect after changing the music names in it. Alright, nevermind. It turns out that this changes the ingame music bar in versus mode. It doesn't affect training mode, all-star mode, or event mode (although it does change classic mode, too). Probably doesn't affect anything in the stadium menu, either; I haven't changed any of the tracks there, so I wouldn't know.
info2/info_training_en.pac: Contains the song titles for training mode.
menu/msg/snd_title_en.msbin: Contains the music names for the stage builder and the stage builder menu.

I haven't found anything that changes the ingame music bar thingy yet, but I'll edit this post as I continue to search.

Most text is a Texture related ordeal.
I wouldn't say so. Most of the text in the buttons is, but all the descriptions, error messages, music titles, credits, trophy descriptions, etc. are regular text.

It would be nice in the future if the word "handicap" could be changed to "buffer".
