It's about a 3 hour drive. Its only one day and we'll more than likely be coming back the same day. Unfortunately I already have 4 other people coming, so its already an uncomfortable ride. However I think someone else from Dallas may be driving, and he might be able to take you. I'll talk to him.

Edit: I did not say kinda. If the pizza is cooked with any kind of topping on it it has the gross taste even if you take the toppings off. If there are 3 people and you want pizza why not do the 555 deal from dominoes. That way its $15 for 3 pizzas instead of just one.

Also I still have my doubts as to how asian Andrew is based on how bad he sucks at video games.

GGs Bill, I'm hoping to still see you tomorrow before you take off to Dallas. Your Falco was serious, along with you green Cactuar Marth. I know your serious when you pick your got your colors . Your neutral B with Marth is too good, but I still called that Falcon Punch!

I'm not very Asian, if you didn't notice, I don't like chicken feet for one, and two I go to Texas Tech not UT :ohwell:.

I would go to bigger tourneys, but the panhandle is in the middle of nowhere, its usually twice as far from here to drive to things, but just wait until brawl comes out and IS online, despite the constant lagging generated from playing online, i will own you 24-7. ; )

Really though i wish the cheese guy, Andrew or Sint lived closer because i am out of practice and any type of human competition. :(

Hey, i found videos of you, how old are your youtube vids?

Oh and if you want to go to big tournaments with Texas best players, you would only have to drive an hour or so (i think) from Tyler to Dallas right? Of course i wouldn't complain if you decided to drive a few extra hours to come own us. :psycho: jk

Well the problem is that I'm not as good as Andrew, so all this practice with me might of actually made him worse lol.
Despite the flack we give Andrew he is quite a decent player I suppose. So, that tends to be his problem when we aren't around.

Keep your pants on people 4 weeks or so and I'll be back which means I'll bug Austin enough to have him do stuff(as long as he isn't busy at work), and we can get together or something. That and Doug is gonna have a car this year OMG?

What's your schedule looking like for next semester Andrew? You swamped or gonna actually have some free time this time? Crap, Bill, I'll check on a ride for you to Oklahoma first thing monday.

Looks like my I'm going to actually be kind of busy for the Fall but it shouldn't be too bad. I'm finally getting a car also, and three of my roommates already have a Wii so Smash Brothers shouldn't be a problem.

Is there any big tourneys in Tyler? Do you know anyone that smashes there?

Sadly, there are no big tourneys in Tyler, man. You should go to Dallas. An hour drive from Tyler to Dallas is a breeze.

If you live in Lufkin, Longview, or Palestine, then your still in good driving distance.

Go there. ;)

Why was that in the panhandle thread since Tyler isn't even close to there? Anyway.......

Three more weeks and the Texas Tech tournament planning will begin. I will most likely have all the dates by the 23rd of August or so (definitely before school starts). I have to make sure I don't put any on mid terms or finals weeks while still make them reasonable timespans apart, like I did last year. If you have any particular dates that need to be avoided, go ahead and post em and I'll see what I can do to accomodate people.

Remember the first tournament will definitely be the usual free entry with no prize, BUT during that tournament I will ask everyone or do a little survey to decide whether or not they would like to try a small entry fee for the remaining tournaments.

Hopefully we'll be having the first tournament early as a sort of welcome back/meet incoming smashers event. I'm going to try for the second weekend after school starts(like the 7th or 8th of September), might even try the first, but that's a little iffy since a lot of people go home for labor day or whatever holiday that is.

sorry my Internet is sucking, I'm making this post from my iPhone. The first tournament is on the 7th, and they will probably start around 6 since they're in the food and animal sciences building again. Here's hoping to get the Internet fixed soon.

Hope to see you all there. Any chance any of the plainview people are going to show up, Serg, Shawn? I know Ismael Gomez, who was that the last tourney in Spring 07, plans to show up again and he is from Canyon Texas which is just north of Plainview.
