How was A-kon this year? Did you hold another Melee tournment, and did they actually have some kind of Street Fighter or Guilty Gear game in there?

Nope. Unfortunately they completely killed the console game room this year for some lame simulator, so there was no smash at all. I believe there was a Naruto tournament, but I'm not sure if there was anything else.

Are you taking summer school at Texas Tech? I know Austin or "Sintenal" is here. If you live on campus I could easily stop by after class or something. I live at University Point right now, and it's really close to campus, near Spanky's. I have class from 10-2, just tell me when you are free.

Well actually I'm just living with my girlfriend here during the summer. I go to school at UTD in Dallas. But anyways, I live about 15 min away from the campus. When I'm not working at Blockbuster, I'm free so....let's see, I have off today, Saturday, Tuesday, and the upcoming Thursday so anytime on those days is awesome. We can meet at my place if you want or where ever, doesnt really matter to me.

The secret with Andrew is to let him get you down to 1 stock and then tell him how you're going to beat him. Works every time

Hmm...I've never tired nyquil before as a sleeping agent, does it actually work and is it heathly to do that?

Well nyquil makes you drowsy. For me, it just makes it hard to keep my eyes open and keeps me in a strange half way sleep-awake state with extremely weird dreams lol. Sometimes if you use it too much on a daily basis its hard to go to sleep without it so I'd suggest only once in a while. However, in any instance, the drowsy effect is enough to cause you to play about as good as a lvl 5 comp lol.

I would also like to see a rematch because i didn't get to see your falcon at the end, or how it ended period, i just heard everyone yelling... You should tell Serg to not "quit" or whatever he's doin. Besides both Andrew's Peach and Marth are better than his Falcon...unless he's actually been practicing, but since he doesn't own a gamecube or wii I'm gonna go with probably not.
He still plays with me once every week or two, but he hurt his hand recently and has to wear a thumb splint for a few weeks. So right now he isn't playing tip top, and he would still like going to TGLs, but he doesn't like traveling almost an hour to play only a couple fairly good players and come home with nothing... I guess, he actually hasn't said that but i think that is probably it.

Well I've been talking with people and doing some thinking and we may start doing entry fees and prizes again except this time keeping it down to like a $1 or $2 entry to keep everyone coming. $5 was too much apparantly, which I guess I can understand since we've been doing free tournies for a while, but I've been getting more and more people saying that they'd come but they wouldn't get anything for winning. So, due to that I would like to try starting this year out with these low entries and go from there. We'll most likely ask everyone at the end of the tournaments if they liked having the entry fees so they could win prizes or if they want to just go back to free tournaments with no prizes. What I would want to do if we got a fair amount of people coming is to spread the prizes out to maybe 4th place or so. That way, if there are only a few good people dominating the top ranks, even the lesser players have a chance to win something or atleast their entry back. Of course, if it completely blows up in our faces like the first time we tried, we'll just go back to free tournaments. Hopefully, though, $1 or $2 isn't too much to scare people away.........
