Did you post the wrong challonge? This references a 16 person bracket with a player named BW A-Wall getting 4th.ZGE: 4th of 45, Hype Train 4, Lawrence, Kansas July 12, 2015 http://ksmht4.challonge.com/p16
No, that's me. There were pools in this tournament and this was top 16. The BW in front of my name means that I came from winners side of pool B.Did you post the wrong challonge? This references a 16 person bracket with a player named BW A-Wall getting 4th.
Place a dins slightly above dash attack level and read him like a boss. Mileage may vary. Also wtf do you do against MK, lol. He's like Fox with a sword that can fly.
Teleport around like a madwoman until he commits so heavily to either you teleporting max distance or in place/backwards that you get enough time to throw out a Dins. If he can hit your teleport before it starts then you're in range to play, which means push forward and threaten to jump->lightning kick, do so if it would hit otherwise scare him away then dash back and teleport! All mindgames, nothing is guaranteed (as it should be).The problem was that I didn't often have the opportunity to do so. MK is really fast. I understand the Din's mixups and everything that goes into where you place it and detonate it and whatnot, but you can't really throw out Din's in neutral unless MK is literally the entire stage away from you, and the only other opportunities are after finishing a combo and when he's on the revival plat.
Also got someone with the giant Din's explosion hitbox =D. Love getting those.
Smart. Will try this out more and see about incorporating it into my game. Thanks for the tip!I watched some of your matches Rizner. You were definitely putting in work (dude took sets off of Oro!? and got a game from Captain Faceroll).
You should definitely dtilt more at the ledge instead of going for dsmash all the time though, you got punished a lot for whiffing dsmash at the ledge cause your opponent would just sweetspot =(. Dtilt will beat or at worst trade with characters sweetspotting the ledge.
Which area of Norcal are you going to be in? The bay or sacramento? If you're going to the bay. I can definitely link you to some PM tourneys and stuff. Also welcome to norcal!Smart. Will try this out more and see about incorporating it into my game. Thanks for the tip!
I feel like I generally played well this weekend - looking forward to the VODs coming up to look at everything again. The only set I lost super hard was against Dart - he's good, lol. I was able to take iPunchKidz to game 3 in one of our money matches, winning game 1 and having a close game 2 before a rough game 3 as well, lol.
Going to NorCal for work in a week (and I'll be there until October), so hopefully I can get to some more tournaments against another scene again. Should be interesting to see how I stack up
I'll be in Santa Clara, but will have a rental car and am willing to drive a bit for eventsWhich area of Norcal are you going to be in? The bay or sacramento? If you're going to the bay. I can definitely link you to some PM tourneys and stuff. Also welcome to norcal!

Yeah you'll be in the bay! I can invite you to the norcal PM facebook page if you PM me and stuff. There should be a lot of tournies near the end of this month.
