Cosmo can't stream until the 31st, so his would have to be an last minute thing. It would probably get a lot of donations though.

has a crapload of followers, he's the head of IGN Nintendo. big smash bros fan, pretty sure he covered project m on IGN. he'd be a good person to contact... only problem is he might not know who you are m2k >_>

Since he covered Project M, why not just get the Project M devs? In fact this should of been done from the begining, the project m devs can do ALOT to help melee.

Try and get in contact with BlackLightAttack on YouTube. He's got a pretty decent sized channel with around 13k subs and today he put out a video of him and his buddy playing Melee. He said they used to play it competitively and went to MLG. He also mentions your name in the beginning of the video. Just a thought and I have no idea if this is actually worth pursuing, but I've seen melee threads in teamliquid's general gaming forums before. Might there be someone in that community you could get on the bandwagon? Lotta starcraft players out there...

I forsee a great number of people wanting to do what seems to be the "right" thing and stay neutral. The problem with that is everybody in the SG camp knows that they will definitely lose without help. I would explain to the YouTube personalities that being undecided is the worst thing they could do. For melee, awesome, for skullgirls not ideal, but by doing nothing the people we're reaching out to are inadvertently supporting cancer of the knockers.

Even if Rich covers the contest and doesn't endorse Melee, it will still provide a huge amount of exposure. Again, I'd think most of the people who would see it, even if it doesn't say "DONATE TO MELEE", would choose that anyway.

exactly, i think starcraft is an untapped source for us
(they sure as hell aren't supporting skullgirls at least)
