So I'm interested. How's life at where you live? Tell me about the culture, lifestyle, the good things that you like about it and the bad. Politics? Stereotypes? I'm all ears...

I live in a small town outside of boston MA. But currently Im in college in NH where it is chilly haha. Uhm very liberal place where I am now and its a good time. I like how everyone can know everyone if you really try hard enough, but there still is a lot of people in the area. It can be very cold in the wwinter tho.

I can't tell you. The guy in school was giving a speech about Internet safety, then we watched a video where a guy almosts gets kidnapped but then, he jumps and lands on grass.

The Gold Coast is pretty cool. Great places to shop, access to Brisbane via train is easy, Beaches everywhere. All of the must-go theme parks are within half an hour of where I live (Movie World is about 2 minutes away). The Casino, Conrad Jupiters is pretty cool too.

It's expensive here though. That's my beef.
People are generally nice, but there are some terrible places in my country.

There's a misconception and a half. So many ad campaigns make us look like the friendliest place ever, and there is a lot of truth to that. There are a lot of people that are nice, that do carry the so called 'Australian' values like mateship, etc.

But there are also a lot of real a**holes too. And don't use our train system at night. You'll get bashed.

Still, if I'm going to live the rest of my life in a first world country, it's probably going to be here. Then I'm split between Japan and America.

And if not a 1st world country, I'm going to the Philipines. I love their lifestyle.

it's Pliskin! Good Dog.

So is Mesa, AZ.

Wikipedia said:
Mesa was founded in January 1878 by Latter-day Saint (LDS or Mormon) pioneers and its population is still roughly one-tenth Mormon. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints operates one of its oldest temples in Mesa (the Mesa Arizona Temple).
See what I did there? That's my location. It's public information that anyone could find if they really wanted to.

I live in northern Virginia... The place is way different than the rest of Virginia. Infact, I wouldn't even call myself Southern except for the fact I'm literally below the Mason-dixon line.

It's like an overpopulated suburbia... except with office buildings everywhere. IMO my town is overdeveloped. A few years ago there was a nice lake where you could skip rocks. Now it's surrounded by a hotel, a fitness center, and some other junks. There's construction all the time, new stuff is constantly springing up; last year we got a new shopping plaza.

I wouldn't be surpised if they started building in the medians.

But it's actually a pretty cool place. And as far as culture, people come from here from all over to get government jobs.

I live in the East Coast (New Jersey). Well, currently I live in Boston since I go to school there.

New Jersey is very interesting, lots of guidos.

Boston seems more chill to be honest.

Starting November 25th of next month I'll be living at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas. Culture will be the last thing on my mind. Let's see, where do I go after that...

Keesler, Mississippi. Wow, not exactly the American cultural center.

Your only furthering stereotypes about Canucks, Rusty Sh.

I live in Florida where everyone is related and confederate flags and black people still hang from the trees.

I live in Canada where everyone sits on a chesterfield in an igloo made of tuques pulled by extremely polite dogs drunk on beer.
Sounds about right. Nothing too special going on up here. Then again I am kinda oblivious to things

Awwww =/

Lol.

I would stereotypically expect that more from, say, Georgia, Alambama, Mississippi, etc.

Keesler is definitely the worse of the two. At least they didn't ship you to Biloxi--oh, wait, they can't because the entire AFB is deserted. Seriously. I went down there in winter 2007 and the only people on base were at the gate. Completely abandoned after Katrina.

If perchance you ever hop over to Maxwell AFB in Montgomery it's fairly nice and Prattville (suburb 20-30min away) is booming right now. Not too shabby at all.

well, what part of Texas is that?

Down here in Houston, all I see is a bunch ofcar enthusiast, seriously, all tricked out and stuff, I kind of wish I had one myself. I tend to also see alot of "vato's" such as you could find in the West Coast, particularly in LA.
