Ike eruption generally isn't a move you should be using. Ike has fair to beat planking iirc.

Well eruption has super armor frames... but the best move to use is dtilt spike like a boss.

I only use eruption when edgeguarding or playing mindgames.
Dtilts are too obvious unless you're as far as you can be and make the move connect.

Eruption may have super armor frames but it's still stupidly laggy and can be avoided and punished on reaction. d-tilt is a far better choice but assuming they're already planking you might as well stick to spaced fairs since they can't be punished in comparison.

Ike's Dtilts are best used to spike the opponent after jab cancelling to the ledge. Otherwise, they aren't the best idea, considering how slow the move is, and considering Ike's speed.

I already knew that what I'm saying is if you use different moves it won't be predictable. You didn't understand what I posted because I never said it was effective.

Many players don't know how big the hitbox is for Ike's down tilt so I use it from far away and they don't expect it.
