Also, Me, Sheer, KYS, Loto. This might be mad fun :D .

Now all we need is for WOTG to make it, for a FLORIDA CHAMP tourney 8) .

Oh and E-kel and Wizzy should make it too :p

should be a fun tourney

I voted for items off, we're ahead!, **** everyone who doesn't think this is a serious game even when the 64 tourney is gonna have a level of play 200x higher than melee or brawl's

Just a bit of a cynical prediction, but I think there's a good chance the TO is going to be suspicious of so many OoS people voting for no items, and might say something like "only votes of people going to the tourney count so items will be on". Judging by the text for the poll choices/deciding to do this in the first place, he's biased towards including items, so I won't be surprised if he'll be looking for an excuse to do things his way. Because that's how human nature works.

Thanks for the votes guys.

Battle cattle that's probably not true. It's a pretty good sized pot for both melee and both which I'm sure will draw some of the top players in FL.

Noob King, I agree. It's a definite possibility.

i was actually going to vote for no items but realized it was none of my business since i'm not entering the tourney.

the more i think about it the more i realize people not entering have no real right to vote.

I know it really isn't that hard, but I don't feel like bringing my laptop lol.

I do plan on recording matches between the good players/finals. I hope there won't be too much overlapping, as I am just bringing 1 VCR. Though I doubt we'll have to wait long.

Don't hate me :(

I think y'all can wait 1 day for vids of the FLORIDA CHAMPIONSHIP to come out :awesome: .

Should be fun.

I agree with battlecow. Also Star King, you're not more likely to watch the stream, you're more likely to go in the stream chat.

Yeah the chat is probably main reason. But even then streams feel more chill for some reason. Youtube feels like a bigger waste of time for some reason even though it's not really. I can't really have a live discussion about the crazy stuff I'm seeing on Youtube, and on stream I don't have to click links and stuff, or something, and can just sit back and maybe smoke a joint if I want to (I don't do this).

IDK. I'm probably crazy. But I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one, 'cause I see a some of the same people in like every stream along with me (mint, tacos, Boomfan, WOTG, ...smasherx74, etc.). Someone back me up :)

BTW I'm not trying to convince you to stream, you can Youtube instead if you want of course. IDK why I'm even posting about this lol

That implies that streams are more time-consuming

I think you mean unless you have free time during streams frequently

Which is so totally different bro

it's more that you have to be available at a certain time

and i know that stream archives exist, but you just said that you like streams for chat, so blah

watching a stream all day means you have nothing to do that day

anyone can watch 10 minute chunks of video

lol dude I was just about to have an ulcer and rage on SK. Then I saw the edit, and I calmed down lol.

This is why I make sure to not be logged in. Avoids homicide.

Depends on the person, people.

I love stream because we can have nerdy socializing time and comment on the match or other related/unrelated things (i.e. Carly Rae Jepsen sex tape, Chrono Trigger TAS, etc.)

Videos are sweet because you can watch what you want to watch however long you want to watch it whenever you want.

Can't compare 'em. Slightly different forms of media entertainment, but different enough.

Lol Not sure what that means exactly...but let me explain a little more.

1st - My connection on this PC is more then questionable. I've tried playing on kaillera on and off via LURKING but i lagged and only recently started getting less then 5 frames.

2nd - I don't think I'd have a huge market (not that I'm making money either way, I just assume almost no one would be watching my streams...being honest malva and boomfan hardly get any viewers...what chance do i have :p)

3rd - This is the one i know you'll all love me for. I personally love smash64, it's my fav game easily...but truth be told i much rather watch League of Legends (LoL) on stream then smash64. I've never personally taken to watching many videos or streams for smash64, for what ever reason they just don't seem that interesting to me. LoL on the other hand i can watch for hours o.o;;

Streams are so much better you guys are crazy, they are just so much more casual and fun.
Lag has never been a problem for me on streams, occasional chat lag, but I don't mind.
streaming is dumb unless you have all the time in the world

which star king clearly does
no u

streaming is better if u use LIVESTREAM PROCASTER cuz u get the best of both worlds, it saves .mp4's of all that you stream on ur comp AS WELL AS saving on your livestream account.

BASICALLY stream ppl get live feed/coolkid chat and utoobnoobs get theirs as well
all is good around the (first)world
