I think what he's saying is that people say who they want in themselves, but they can't choose more than one Bandai-Namco character. I think it's a good idea since it makes sure people only choose exactly one they want, so you don't get poll bias. Forcing someone to post their favorite only isn't a bad thing.

Except Reggie, anyway. Not going to lie, that one is remotely possible due to the fact that he works for Nintendo. Sakurai actually making him playable is not too weird, especially after we got Giga Bowser as well as many SSE originals.
But eh. The guidelines themselves are trash, but I was talking about the Bandai-Namco ruling only.
