My bad, I just saw the "if your latest game was after 2009" miiverse comment and saw you type Mega Man 9 (2008) and saw that as a counter argument to the miiverse comment.. And I thought "Wait, there was a Mega Man game after 2009..."If I forgot Mega Man 10, then I also forgot Super Mario Galaxy 2, Wii Fit U, and Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I was only listing characters' first appearances since the Wii's debut (2006).
I don't own either Animal Crossing or Wiif Fit games, but I should have noticed Galaxy 2 was post-2009.
