tails? or shadow?

There might not be Sonic or Tails in the game due to what Sakura (whatever his name is) said. He stated on his website that in order for a 3rd party character to get into Smash they had to debut on Nintendo. Neither Sonic nor Tails did.

he said that they have had to APPEAR on a nintendo platform not debut. Sonic adventure DX, sonic adventure 2 battle, and sonic heroes were all on gamecube.

Sonic Heroes was ALSO on XBox and PS2. The Sonic GBA games and his one DS game gives him many Nintendo appearances. That, and Sonic Advance 1 was his first Handheld appearence in a LONG time.

The first non-nintendo handheld Sonic game since his GBA era is for PSP, but I wouldn't be surprised if a DS port was done, since Sonic is popular on Nintendo.

I've never heard of Tails Music Maker. So that makes 3 solo games. Wow...he just caught up with Sonic.(I always forget about Sonic Spinball...)

See what i'm saying? It wouldn't make sense since it would be odd for ONLY sonic to have a COMPLETLY diffrent look and have the same moves.

It wouldn't suprise me if they did. I just think it would be kinda idiotic to only do that to sonic alone.

Well, Ghos7Soldier, a color mod would work. I had a similar idea based around MegaMan, but overall, Shadow and Sonic are too different for a direct costume. They may have done it with Peach originally, but not many moves have been shown on Daisy, so it was no big deal.

Let's say they add Tails. I do hope he retains a couple of Sonic techniques that are similar, being that he did start off as a clone overall. But that's just me.

Meh...I just think it's kinda idiotic for them to do that. Peach and daisy are pretty much the same except diffrent skin color and hair color also the dress.

Oh well...Sonic is fine for me. If shadow doesn't make or knuckles i'll just play as Sonic...Even if sonic or anyone else didn't make it i'll play as metaknight or mario.

Blood Falcon = red team Captian Falcon

Red team Sonic could be black with red streaks- about as close to Shadow as the Wario costume was to Wario.

I could see sonic black with red streaks on him but to use the exact same model as shadow would just be out. That's basically putting two characters in with the same exact attacks and most people would be kinda mad about it.

What I thought you people were saying are using the SAME exact detail of shadow as a costume for sonic which is kinda idiotic.

I like, to a point. The problem is, what about characters off the edge? If Jiggly Jumps off to put them to sleep, then she goes bye bye. For Tails, if he can get them off the edge, it's over bc he just hits them with this baby, and they fall to their doom. If it had some kind of charge up to send it farther I'd be more likely to accept it, but the idea is kind of broken.

Well, you have to take into account that I wrote the bloody thing at like 4 A.M. and I had been at work all day...I was tired. Had I been more awake, I would have thought of something a bit...better. A simple solution would be to still let them grab the ledge if they are in range. It doesn't knock them out, but just tie up their feet...leaving their arms open for grabing the ledge.

Agreed. If you don't know what a spin dash is, the get out now. You don't belong here. If Tails and Sonic make it in, then this move had better be on both of them. It's a classic.

I thought about a charge up time, but wasn't sure about it. It could be like Luigi's Smash B.

No arguements there. What happened to the B-v move though? It's harder to think of things for Tails, personally since I have not played Tail Advnture yet, and I am basing my thoughts off of Sonic battle. Tails didn't have much in it.

Good. We need a few more distance grabbers. If he does make it in over Shadow (Which he'd better not XD), then at least he'd have a good start.

Neither one will make it in Brawl...this was just a hypothetical moveset in the .05% chance he did make it. Plus, Sonic > Tails > Knuckles > Shadow is the most likely addition order.

I could definitely see Shadow being Sonics clone [not too clone-y like Doc, but more like Roy/Y.Link] and Tails being the Luigi of the Sonic world. He would have some same moves, but some original.

Knuckles could probably pass as both a clone or a Luigi or maybe even an entirely different character. I guess that's because he's just that cool. ^^

Tails has sucked ever since he got voice acting. Shadow is a crappy rip-off of Sonic who only asks stupid questions that no one cares to answer. I say neither, put in Knuckles over all of them even though I know that won't happen either.

Tails got 2 games one sucked and one was awsome, one of the tails games (on the game gear I think) was way better than Shadow the hedgehog but that's not hard to do even Super Mario Sunshine was better than Shadow's game

Edit: tails is far from 2nd most popular, most fans view him as the gay little Fox. Except on Genesis when he was better than sonic in nearly every way, every sine he got 3-d, he really had no advantage and was just another character.

Shadow is cool in a mature kinda way, and Knuckles is cool in the toughness kinda way

I'd have Knuckles get in over the others though, cuz he's the least clonelikely, and plus he's black.

He's the only one that doesn't have a corny caucasion voice or an evil english accent caucasion voice, plus all his stages have rap/hiphop in them, and plus he has dreadlocks, and a deep voice

Why? If Shadow were in, I can guarantee he would be a Sonic clone. They have almost the exact same moves. Atleast Tails has some original moves.

If it had to be between Shadow and Tails, it would obviously be Tails since Shadow is a rip-off character of Sonic - and not even the good kind: they just did the generic "color him black and he'll look evil" thing. Neither will make it to the game but if I had to chose a second sonic character I would choose knuckles. He glides, which would give him ultimate comeback ability and he was a fighter, which is what smash bros is about. He is so different that he wouldn't have to share a single move wth sonic outside of a very few A attacks

Also, Shadow seems alot like a clone to Sonic, adn he would make a good Boss for Sonic (That is if Sonic makes it in). I don't really like the idea od Shadow since he dosen't seem as unique as Tails.
