Heavy Disagree here. While I don't mind you up voting him saying he's at minimum compared to Roy is just wrong.

Roy actually has throw combos, his Neutral B actually has use against half-decent players and he has much more consistent follow-ups and KO moves.

Roy likely was somewhat overhyped at launch but he's still easily a step or two above Marth.

Okay, "minimum" may have been a poor choice of words but I'm still not convinced Roy is a whole tier or two above Marth. Marth also has strengths of his own that Roy doesn't have, like better ariels, a combo breaker, and spacing, along with jab follow ups that can lead to a kill.

Okay so a question. The previous tier list had nine tiers. Currently we're at seven. At what point is this additional division going to start at? Because looking at the most recent tiers for the week, the third tier is a bit big. We should probably add new tier between 3 & 4.

Tier 3 is way too big. We should really focus on that. Of course the better way to do so would be to move characters back down to tier 4, which I'm not doing, but I figured I'd focus on the biggest misplacements. Considering all of his results, it's odd that Diddy is still not in Tier 2.

Other things:
Guys, before you vote Luigi (this guy: ) up, just think: "why do I think this character is so good?" It can't be his results, because he has had little to no success at majors. It can't be his match-ups because he has more than one hard counter, and he doesn't invalidate any character like Shiek can.

I'd like to point out, again, that Yoshi has no results whatsoever. People say that he's just not popular in America, and he gets top-tier results in Japan, but I refer you to this thread: http://smashboards.com/threads/japanese-results-compendium.407296/

I also think that belongs in a tier of her own. She has no negative match-ups, and very few even. She's the worst match-up, or one of the worst, for most characters.

Bottom 3? Definitely not, I just rushed the post. Remember, his results have worsened considerably post patch.

Sorry Links, but neither Link has really gotten the results to justify Mid-High tier placemnt IMO. Link got some solid buffs, and Toon Link has always had some great tools, but nobody has really been able to leverage them successfully yet. I could see Toon Link fitting in mid tier alongside other theoretically decent but unproven characters like Ike and Shulk, but I don't feel like Link can even hold his own there.

Basically I don't get why WFT is that high when her hitboxes are horrible for their speed. Sure when you land it hit that's great, but that's also the hard part. Also, I find Rosaluma to be easier to deal with now that I know to focus on Luma, kill Luma, THEN focus on Rosalina. I win like all of my Bowser-Rosa matches and people get so pissed lmao. Also, Luigi to me feels like the new Diddy Kong, even with the nerfs.

Basically I don't get why WFT is that high when her hitboxes are horrible for their speed. Sure when you land it hit that's great, but that's also the hard part.

While the hitboxes in front of her when she hits are somewhat small, the fact that she has hitboxes both in front and behind her can make her tricky to fight.

She has not one but two solid projectiles. Side B in particular is great for ledgecamping and follow-ups to throws/off-stage attacks. Neutral B is solid since it can be charged in the air (unlike Samus), consistently strong (unlike Lucario) and doesnt throw her back at full strength (unlike Mewtwo).

Her Smashes are kinda slow/unsafe but she rarely needs them (unless you can get a really hard read), but her Ftilt is absurdly fast and strong. It almost has a much power has a very slightly charged smash attack.

And of course John Numbers did well and got top 50 in EVO (over many other characters in the bottom 3 tiers of this topic who didn't place at all).

WFT does have weakness like having no consistent throw combos or throw KOs and some annoying matchups (hello Villager) but high play Wii Fit Trainer can be fairly scary since she's a bunch of scary punishes/follow-ups/surprise hitboxes/surprise KO moves.

She at the very least deserves Tier 4 more than Link and has way more potential than non-custom Palutena, Ganondorf, Mewtwo, Lucina, etc.

I split the tiers only when they become too large, no other reason. Tier 3 is very close to it. The amount of tiers will shrink when everyone votes the bottom tier characters up a tier, or they bring characters like Sheik down to share a tier with other characters.

Good comboing, great down special, great air attacks, great KO Power, and good damage racking. (To the Luigi thing)
