Marth is much better than Lucina in almost every way. Characters being clones doesn't mean they have to be close on the tier list. Just look at Marth and Roy in Melee.

They're not that different. Marth is outright better, yes, but he's not exceptionally different from Lucina. My opinion of Marth has been exceptionally low because every Marth main I know (which was quite alot) has dropped him on account of his nerfs.

This isn't exactly the place for this, either. I can vote characters up or down for whatever reason I want, correct?

UPDATE DONE

I have done a new method to track the votes and it is interesting to see how some characters are highly contentious while others are unanimous either in their movement, or to stay where they are. Therefore from now on I will make a little comment on current trends.

Diddy recorded a record high net positive vote and general downwards voting of Sheik and Rosalina will probably see him hold this top spot for quite a while.
DK sees a massive surge, probably due to Will beating M2K.
Fox is moving up fast while Little Mac is doing the opposite, this trend looks likely to continue
Marth was quite contentious but took a heavy fall
Ness keeps going up and down and can't seem to stand still, same with Shulk
Rosalina got a massive downwards hit, likely to continue.

Is Mario really better than Luigi? Look at how Luigi was higher than Mario in the past two games, and while a lot has changed about them between Brawl and now, I don't think much has changed to say Mario is better now. Luigi has a new down-throw which is better than before, so I can't really see how he isn't still better than Mario.
And also, wouldn't you think Luigi is fine where he is? Although, maybe that is a bit too high, I don't know. I just think he's good.

I just think he deserves mid in this game. It might just be my Luigi bias and fandom...

My - vote will go to Dark Pit. Because, despite everyone saying he's stronger, Dark Pit's only differences to Pit are:
- lower knockback on Ftilt.
- stronger but less movable B.
- different angle on Side B.
Which is, in my opinion, actually worse than Pit.

Megaman is hugely underrated and has a really good neutral, same for Villager.

Shulk in the top 1/3rd? What. I guess I need to watch more tourney matches soon, because this doesn't reflect what I know at all and I've been taking this game so casually so far I haven't bothered to look at results.

+1 He gets hurt by counter picks pretty easily but he can totally dominate on FD, Omega's and stages that don't have too many platforms.
+1 I think DK is starting to get a reputation as being better than people think.
+1 His Uair can blow you off the stage, that's pretty damn funny. Also I don't think hammer nerf has killed the character as much as the current lists suggests.
