The funny thing about Quiet is that they've done this before. Remember The End?

Look at him and his leaf clothing. He breathes through his skin, so why doesn't walk around in a bikini and sensually play with water?
Oh right. Boobs. I forgot.

Is anyone a little surprised that we didn't get the Fighting Mii Team costumes for the playable versions?

Sure, it would've been confusing when using them in Multi-Man Smash, but for some reason I was kinda expecting it could happen.

Also, man, the comments in the SmashBoard article on "Is Sakurai a liar?" really shows that the Smash community will never change.

Quiet.
Who, in one part, has a scene of her in a shower in even less than this with a small crowd of males watching.

And, as Ryugie/Anna just stated.

This is an unlockable outfit for her. With absolutely no issue with her wearing a normal amount of clothing.
Considering what I read posted here right after I made my initial post,

A. Why does she not have more of her legs exposed in the first image and simply wear short shorts? And why wear gloves at all?

B. No you are NOT going to be able to photosynthesize with normal skin ya stupid.

Honestly, though, any "genetic modification" involving surgically removing organs rather than simply restructuring the entire body is just hand waving through stupidity, anyway.

The WiiU didn't sell that well because Nintendo clung to the Wii name, did very poor advertising for the first like 3 years of its lifespan, and the graphical quality of the WiiU alongside the forced need of the Gamepad made it unapproachable for most 3rd Parties and especially made porting a challenge.

The Vita did so poorly, ESPECIALLY outside Japan, because the graphical quality of the Vita is too heavy and the gap of the work needed for a visually-sound Vita game compared to PS3 is not nearly enough to the amount of return you'd get putting it on the greater install base. Especially for 3rd Parties. Edit: And the memory space of it is even worse than the WiiU's. I've had to get a total of 3 memory cards for the Vita and I own about a dozen games for it.

Double Edit: Both tried to coast off of the success of their predecesors (except the Wii was far more successful than the PSP) and did so poorly due to lack of approach ability for 3rd Parties and poor as hell memory.

I found the "rolling glitch" in Wario Land 3 a few days ago, but it was in the Cave of Flames, and not in any other places mentioned with the glitch. I was butt-stomping one of the tadpoles that jump out of fire, and the one behind me apparently bumped into me on the same frame.

I also discovered a bunch of glitches in Nicktoons Racing for PC back when I was around 8-9 that nobody else seems to know about. I wish I could record footage of doing them.
The game I probably did the most glitch hunting in (well, besides Sonic '06 :p), was also not a very popular one - The Legend Of Spyro: Dawn Of The Dragon. I loved playing around in it so much since there were a lot of glitches and exploits involving giving Spyro and Cynder absurd movement options, to the point where I ended up putting in over 100 hours into the game because I put so much time into just hunting for new ways to exploit it's mechanics.

The glitch I know I was the first to discover (or at least the first to post about it online) was one involving getting infinite height with Cynder, using careful exploiting of a brief moment in her aerial light attack combo to gain height. Basically, in the third attack of the combo, she does a little back flip kick that actually moves her up slightly, and she moves back down in the fourth attack or if you stop. However, there is a brief moment where you can start a fresh new combo without losing that extra little bit of height from the third attack in the combo, so if you repeat the process, she can gain height indefinitely.

In this image below, I am way past the invisible boundary for the "flying mode" in the game, and you can even clearly see the black void below the level map.

I have also found ways to use this to sequence break certain sections in the game which is useful in speed running the game (something I have done in my own time but never publicly).

It's been 5 years since I was doing all of this though. Sometimes I wonder if I should try to make something out of it, like a speed running community for the game.

It's easy to **** on the Vita, but people in glass houses shouldn't be throwing stones.

It's also easy to **** on the Wii U.

Not to mention Sony did
A: Forget to market the damn thing
B: Made any interesting exclusives no longer Vita exclusive
C: When PS1 games were made available on the Vita, Sony said 'oops we didn't mean to make ALL these available' and locked a ****ton away

Now that you mention it, yeah, that is odd.

I'm pretty sure EVERY SmashBoards article is filled to the brim with comments so toxic it makes GameFAQs look like a roost for angels.

This is probably just the first time you've read the comments of an article here in a while. Really, those comments are where the scum of the site live.

The saddest thing, is I've seen fan-art of The End IN Quiet's get-up.
Well I'm not surprised. I mean, if the reason why she's in her get-up is breathing through skin. We should be consistent.

And... honestly.
Not so much as A.
But B and the general concept of backwards compatability, I feel, lead to the Xbone and PS4 having their own rocky starts.
"Okay, what are the good games I can get on this console but not on 360/PS3/Vita for the sake of argument?"
"If I were to jump ship to the next console can I bring my old games?"
At least the WiiU tried to have exclusives... hell just about everything on it WAS/IS exclusive.

So as it turns out, there's a same-sex couple in XCX

Pretty sure it's the only one as well, since of them is a walking stereotype.

Just thought I'd share.

I think Quiet is fine as she is, it's not like we haven't already had Raiden doing naked cartwheels.

Fanservice equality.

I believe there are more, can't remember.

And he is a stereotype at first but actually becomes a pretty awesome character.

My problem with Quiet is that the "justification" for her fan service just comes off as desperate and unnecessary.

I mean she isn't a great character as is but if you just wanted to have a character who was there for fan service and nothing else...just have her wear skimpy clothes for no reason at all like every other fan service character. Don't try to be all like "nononono she just comes off as fan service-y because of her tragic backstory, it actually makes her a more interesting character!". Again, it's desperate, and paints her as a "creator's pet/waifu" type situation. Doesn't help much when your explanation is nonsensical and is contradicted within the game itself.

Without this nonsensical aspect of her character, she'd literally just be like any other fan service character. I guess in hindsight this just made her stand out, even if it's shallow.

The thing is though, Raiden's butt wasn't really g8 until rising. :p At the time that was more like fan disservice.(Well, minor, not major like zero suit wario or the end in quiet's outfit.) And not to mention, he had a much better reason to be naked.

Kamui wields a sword named Yato...

Suddenly, I'm reminded of both Kill la Kill and Noragami at once.
