You really shouldn't find the Only on Wii U bit questionable, cause do remember, and everybody else who thinks this, the upcoming Zelda game, the theory about it coming to NX is still only a theory, not fact.

Effectively you guys maybe setting yourself up like those who said Wolf is guaranteed to return as DLC.

Remember just because it seems obvious to you, doesn't mean it is correct.

It's not about rumors of the new Zelda moving to anything (I don't care about anything relating to the NX until we see the darn thing in action). It's just that the video doesn't show anything from a specific game (from any console) but just a general Zelda series fan.

Yeah. My point it's not worth localizing if they are going to change 80% of the content. They might as well make a new series, and that way they wouldn't have to splice episodes together or make up absurd plots. What they aired on Adult Swim was not really Crayon Shin-chan. In the end it's a family show here.

It'd have to be censored to hell and back before even considered being put on kid's television. I consider it less "ruining the original intention" and more "making the most of what you have".

And to be honest I'd rather keep the "adult" version than have some dumbed down version (that imo would've killed the original vision more) because buttocks scare Americans.

As such, director Steven Foster opted to rework the show into a pure Gag Dub, throwing out nearly all of the original script and keeping only the names and how the ghosts were defeated - nearly everything else was improvised to fit with the flaps and needed things. When the actors were called in to record scenes, whoever got there first got to set the tone and subject for the scene, and the rest of them had to follow in those set footsteps. This produced a dub that is full of random characterization, fourth-wall-breaking jokes, as much silliness as the VAs could manage, and is utterly hilarious."

I still have to watch it and I'm probably going to drag my friends into this

So... since the new year has just started, I've been having a certain idea since the new year started. What if I change the way I post in this thread just a little bit? I'll still post like normal, but have like an obscure console fact each and everyday just to spice this thread up just a little bit.

I personally love learning about consoles and some of the hidden capabilities they possess. Sharing knowledge is a really good thing (up to a certain point) and it helps other people learn things they might not know about their favorite consoles.

So with that in mind, I guess this'll be the first Obscure Console Fact of the Day .

Did you know that the New Nintendo 3DS has the hardware necessary to be a Wii U Gamepad?

The New Nintendo 3DS contains:

- C-Stick
- Amiibo NFC Reader
- IR Sensor (Presumably for controlling the TV)
- ZL and ZR Buttons
- Wireless Communication

Most importantly though, the chip that decodes HTML5 videos when played back in the Internet Browser can also accept and decrypt the same signal the Wii U Gamepad accepts from the Wii U Console.

“So hackers were able to find out more about hardware of New Nintendo 3DS and they confirmed what they suspected, N3DS [h]as a video decoder which supports [the] same H264 video format which is used for Wii U for streaming to [the] gamepad and in N3DS is used for viewing videos in HTML5.

I suspect that Nintendo might in future introduce a feature to stream Wii U games to N3DS.”

However, this feature has yet to be used and its unknown whether or not Nintendo will add it in a future update.
