Holy **** Overdrive is strong as hell in XCX. I killed an enemy in 7 seconds when it takes about a minute and a half. AND I FOUND AN EXPLOIT!

IMO, impact doesn't mean it's a masterpiece to me. Sure you can say Super Mario Bros popularized the platforming genre or that Street Fighter II popularized the fighting genre, doesn't mean it gave me the deepest experience as something as Undertale.

I have already played Ocarina of Time twice in the original and on the 3DS, and while it does have the innovation, it does not have as many memorable characters, songs, places, enemies, and bosses as Undertale. What other game takes morality to a whole new level and give you a satisfying experience at the same time. Only Undertale has done that.

Undertale does have memorable characters and moments and that's why I love it but people overestimate it too much
The morality system is Black and White since the neutral endings can barely be called endings
The Genocide run is a grindfest with only an attack button that oneshots everything but two bosses making any RPG element pointless
And metalanguage gets old real fast when it's not even subtle
There is a reason the two most memorable characters and moments don't even touch that stuff

I wonder what they could even buff with him, without completely changing his playstyle.Just make him have less lag? He's pretty much my main character. And against my "casual" friends I do just fine. It seems like he's just supposed to be a casual fighter. (Sakurai had a statement where he said some characters were designed from a competitive standpoint, and others from a casual.)

Reading through all this Undertale situation, come to think of it...

Whether you like it or not, whether you're from Smashboards or any other website, whether you like or not using custom moves, and so on, in just 6 hours and 25 minutes more, even if it's just for about 20-45 minutes, all of us will leave aside our differences as we gladly watch Sakurai's last Smash 4 presentation. All of us might not agree on everything and have different opinions on certain subjects, but if there's something that we all have in common is that we're all excited to see what secrets Sakurai might finally be revealing after nearly 3 years of speculations. Perhaps your most wanted character won't get in or perhaps it will, but I'd like to thank Sakurai for managing to bring together many different game communities together for one last time.

For example, buff Dark Dive: currently, it deals less damage and has less knockback than Falcon Dive.

For a character that is designed as a mighty glacier variant of Falcon, I feel that is a poor design choice when all other of Ganondorf's moves are either as powerful as or stronger than Falcon's.

At least make it so the grab deals as much knockback as Dark Fists.

You have to play it.

If we ever want to raise the bar on the video games of the future, we have to take every factor into account. Most classics have strong gameplay, weak plot. This game has weak gameplay, strong plot.

If it's only draw is it's storyline, it's better compared to noninteractive media like books, movies, and TV shows than other video games.

To be honest, someone could easily make a game with just as skilled of writing as this but drastically better gameplay.

Gameplay is the most important aspect of a game to me, after that, graphics, as nobody wants to play an ugly looking game. Story goes last, unless it's an RPG or visual novel, then it swaps places with graphics
