I'm just really happy for Geno and his fans.

They deserve this. The passion they have for a character that's only put in one appearance is utterly amazing.

The fact that as a character he touched their childhoods in such a way really makes me as a creative person hope for that one day.

It might not be exactly what they wanted, but I'm sure they'll see this as a win.

I'm not sure how anyone could be singing doomsday songs right now. The Geno costume makes me all giddy.

THIS is what Sakurai meant by fanservice, and I love it. He acknowledged that Geno has/had a huge fanbase, and put something in to show that he knows.

I've seen a loooot of posts on GameFAQs saying the Wii U version's datamine only had 2 songs, so given that and the low number of mii costumes I'm wagering the patch is incomplete

The only thing I find odd here is the Mii Outfits. Have they ever released paid for Mii costumes outside of a wave?

The K.K.Slider hat and suit were free, so I can't think of any, especially since the Inklings were incorporated into a wave themselves.

A single hat and a hat+costume bundle seems very strange.
