Ah, my favorite part in NSMBU when it transformed into a cel-shaded adventure where we sail the great seas. Such an unexpected mid-genre changing twist. Nintendo really gave it their all with that installment.

A bit surprised at Oboro-tan's popularity, and Orochi I thought Japan'd go for.
For the guys, no surprise the bros are so high. The designs of the ones in last deserve to be there IMO they kinda look ug edit: scratch that half the male designs look ug. I guess I can't complain, though, since we have so many cute girl designs~

Aside from Flora, all of my favorite characters were pretty much in the middle. A bit disappointing as I'd like to see them score higher, but I'll take it.

Children didn't seem to have done well overall looking back at Awakening considering Eponine did the best and she was only at 10, which compared to Awakening's Owain and Lucina being in the top 3 is a pretty decent drop. A lot of the children characters are also on the last third of both polls, with the Kannas surprisingly doing the worst despite being the offspring of the Kamuis. So with that in mind, I wonder if these low scores are a result of the mechanic leaking into their popularity among fans (or lack thereof in some cases).

Also, it's kind of funny how low Sophie scored considering we got into a heated debate about her skill not too long ago.

I think it's more of a case that the children units in this game are just boring in general
Most of them have nothing to them and their designs kinda suck
There are both Kannas who look more ugly than anything imo, Soleil with her whole controversy and being a gender bent of her father, Eponine whose personality is making Yaoi fanfictions, both of the older brothers' sons who are nobodies, Trarsha 2.0, Not!Cordelia, Gender bent Owain, Gender bent Aqua and MUCHALUCHA!
Of course, Foleo, Sophie and Velour are the only exceptions :p

So I found 3 Xbox One games that I want to pick up in MKX, RE Revelations 2 and KI3.

I also found a copy of Star Fox 64 3D on sale for $19.99, haven't played it before so is it just as good or better than the N64 version or not?

GameXplain, like Etika, have the tendency to rush news videos out as quickly as possible, resulting in misinformation being spread.

That's about the only similarity they have, though, and GameXplain is nowhere near as bad about that as Etika is. It's only a once-in-a-while thing for them, while the grand majority of Etika's news videos are poorly researched and contain misinformation.

I think the comparisons are fair to some degree, but it's an exaggeration to say that GameXplain are on Etika's level.

People aren't referring to Etika's reaction videos or GameXplain's analysis videos.

It's about their news reports, which both tend to feature misleading clickbait titles, and the bare minimum when it comes to research and fact checking.

Man. When it comes to Black Friday, I am gonna sit it out as usual. Besides there is not really many things I want at this time. Plus I will not risk killing myself over a purchase. Not my bag. I am gonna wait till Black Friday is over. As for Xenoblade X, I am gonna wait till I finish the first Xenoblade no matter what. I know the story is different, but I am trying to beat the first Xenoblade just to be on the safe side.

I had an awful dream. The December Direct came and we got twenty characters.

But they were awful.

We got two DK characters, but they were "Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong" (Diddy riding Donkey like in DKCR) and "Super Donkey Kong" (the power up from Donkey Kong 64." SDK was an invincible character.

On top of that we got Fiora who acted like some high school anime.

The finale was the third party character. It was that alien from Destroy All Human!

Only nice thing was Wolf and even he looked bad. His face texture didn't even cover his model.


Whew. Glad it's a dream.

I think it would really put things into perspective when our DK characters would be Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, and Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. :laugh:


This is why you should never say you want "a DK rep" for a newcomer. Being specific helps, guys. :p

But Shinonome had good supports...

I do agree that most of the children were pretty uninteresting this time around as they were either pretty one-note and gimmicky, or don't have much to them in general. They really felt more like side attractions rather then actual characters.

Went with Platinum, SoulSilver's leveling curve could be a bit more troublesome to deal with following XY, Platinum at least gives you a chance to level up more consistently.

This is my reasoning for Platinum as well. If X and Y were a problem, SoulSilver would be much worse.

It's mostly just ****posting that's nothing to do with the statement. :V

I think he's technically right in that we can't ASSUME things anymore, but, I don't think Goku is too likely. Possible, but not likely, due to the fact Sakurai seems like he wants this to be a gaming celebration, not anime.
