No joke, the Wisps would be awesome items. The colors in the announcement video clearly reference Sonic Colors.
The Wisps are going to be playable.
Agreed. No joke, the Wisps would be awesome items.
It sucks that none of the third parties (besides Namco) have items.
How much was it again?@Zoroarking
I now own EO millennium girl.
This better not suck. Any suggestions for the early game to make this as enjoyable as possible?
Call this guy Dhalsim 'cuz that's one **** of a reach.

$10 because it is on sale. How much was it again?
That would sort of imply the fanbase was guided by logic and rationality in the first place.Excuse my language...
I had really hoped that with Clouds announcement people would actually take a moment and learn about this kind of stuff. I don't even care if the use SG itself, I just hoped it would encourage a discussion.
But I still see people with their heads up their ***, and haven't learned a damn thing.
...I expect too much from people I guess.
bus ****erIf you make the female avatar's boob size the largest, she gains a special "Mammary Barrier" ability at Level 50. It's the best defensive move in the game.
trust me i 100percented dat gaem
Push, this is the Smash community.Excuse my language...

Sorry for my ignorance, but what are you angry about? What's SG? I'm so confused.Excuse my language...

Despite what I just said, I tend to be a closet fan too, haha (I guess I'm sort of a hypocrite). While some of the more troubling fan behaviors I've seen contribute to it, I mostly avoid talking about being a fan of the games/TV shows I like because of how some people who don't know a ton about them perceive them and their fans. On one hand, I don't want to reward that kind of prejudice about innocuous things. On the other hand, I don't really want to be someone who goes around telling everybody about their favorite anime to blank stares. The overwhelming stupidity in large fanbases is basically why I end up having a "closet love" for most things in the end.
I want to discuss and gush about things but people are either too stupid or they're jerks and the I just stop trying and silently love the thing by myself.
Makes more sense than every other other crockpot theory I've seen. The colours behind the Special broadcast letters are obviously the green and yellow stage transition on smash 3DS Final Destination amirite?
With me I just often get to a point where the fan base is either overly negative in my experience, or just silly.Aren't we part of the Smash community too though?
I think it's totally fine to criticize some frustrating attitudes and behaviors of other Smash fans, but I'm not a big fan of elitism, especially when it comes to something like DLC speculation. So while I definitely agree that it'd be nice if people were informed about that stuff, people going out on a limb about speculation aren't really harming anybody as far as I can tell...

The ballot winners are the ones who will be made playable due to the ballot. It still really annoys me how people use the term "Ballot Winners", or ask "Who won the ballot?'
It's such a stupid phrase, and it's so childish.
This is a suggestion box people.
They're not gonna show you any results. Why? Because then you'll just complain that #2 wasn't put in the game, and that #1 and #3 were. Then you'll complain that that is stupid. Then the fanbase will hate each other even more. Then Sakurai will get even more hate.
The guy isn't the brightest when it comes to some basic decisions. But the man damn sure knows how to handle a couple million whiners.
Chances are the #1 most suggested character won't be put in the game at all. Sakura may not like him. But #4 gives Sakurai a great vision so he works on putting them in the game.
Releasing any form of data would be the dumbest thing Sakurai has ever done. And you people know how many of his decisions I think were absolute crap. But that would top the list.
It just blows my mind how news sources like GX are still waiting for results and winners.
I don't see it elitist as much as seperatist, really. Because I just dislike rude people in general, really. Whether they be snobs or just mentally too young. And pretty much every fandom is filled with many of these people because.... Well, they're just the most vocal.Aren't we part of the Smash community too though?

Honestly, this. I think that's what at least some people mean by the winners.I really don't get the whole "I hate the 'ballot winner' term" mentality.
I, for one, think we're only going to get one character from it anyway, so yeah, in that case there would be a "ballot winner." Call it a suggestion box all you want, but do you really expect them to not go "This character did really well in the ballot so we put them in" when discussing one of the characters? It seems unreasonable not to expect them to reference it. And the whole "thinking-there'll-be-a-winner-is-idiotic" mentality I've seen from a lot of users here just reeks of unwarranted elitism, honestly. No, I'm not saying they'll show the results. But I think there'll be one character who Sakurai will mention got in due to ballot demand.
And yes, like it or not, that'd qualify as a ballot "winner" in my eyes.
Wait a minute, taking this a step further:Makes more sense than every other other crockpot theory I've seen.

Peach has fans? With me I just often get to a point where the fan base is either overly negative in my experience, or just silly.
In the Smash fan base, it's the speculation elitism, the ignorance of a lot of the competitive oriented players, and general stereotyping. For a game that's supposed to bring the fans of different games together, it sure causes more of a rift than anything.
As a Rosalina fan, I have to deal with the constant misconceptions about the character from both fans and non-fans (e.g "SHE'S A PRINSHESH AND SHE'S PEACHY'S DAUGHTER FROM THE FUTURE"), the elitism from jealous Peach or Daisy fans, general salt the character generates (such as in the Smash community), and any semblance of correcting someone on something equalling me being an over obsessive "waifu***" or something.
As a Sonic fan I have to deal with constant "SONIC WAS NEVER GOOD", god damn Arin Hanson, furry accusations, etc.
And as a Rodea fan I have to deal with how everyone is only gonna play the bad versions of the game.
But yeah stuff like that is why I have completely declined in my forum visiting and what not. Smashboards is the only one of the three forums I frequented that I still visit at all, and even then, I've severely cut down on my usage of it.

Stop right there conspiracy theorists
If I had a dollar for every time I saw a misspelling of Sakurai...Wait She's deciding the roster? No wonder why Ryu got in! That Sakura Bias!
At the same time it blows my mind that people think that this still isn't a popularity contest. "Oh its just a suggestion box, anyone can get in!!!!"It still really annoys me how people use the term "Ballot Winners", or ask "Who won the ballot?'
