I need to ask your help with something...
I'm overweight and while I feel fine physically, I'd like to lose weight.
My overall goal is to lose 80 pounds.
Could you guys like, bug me or change the title to help me or something. I have tried to do it on my own but to no avail. Would you guys be willing to help?
Well my career requires me to remain in top shape, so I have some advice.
First, when it comes to diet, be careful what you drink. If you want to lose weight, drop alcohol , energy drinksand carbonated beverages. Water, juice and tea are always contributors to a healthy diet.
Don't focus on building muscle...focus on cardio. Muscle weighs more than fat, so if you hit the weight bench, you won't meet that goal. Running and swimming are the two best cardio exercises I can think of. If you have access to a pool, tread water on a regular basis. This will build up your stamina greater. If you aren't a fast runner, focus on distance for now. You should run at least 2 miles a week.
Situps and pushups can also tone your body while avoiding putting on unnecessary weight.
