Speaking of Kaiju, Yugioh recently just got that archtype. It's still small right now, but it's pretty cool. ...I think it's TCG only, oddly enough. As in "not in Japan".

Finally two Blue-Eyes White Dragons can fuse. Only problem is it's a contact fusion so you can't summon it from the hand. Albeit, the monster is freaking powerful, so it's justified. Also, summoning two Blue-Eyes isn't hard anymore anyway.

Summoning two Blue-Eyes is pretty damn easy now.
Especially with the newer supports that work with each other. And with Maiden.

I can totally see Blue-Eyes Decks being high-tier once those cards come out.

Mods are always complaining about arguments getting out of hand, so nip it in the bud.

Also, why does it matter if the joke was funny?
The question posed was: "how do you afford that"

Maybe. But they still suffer from dead hands highly often. Thankfully Five-Headed Dragon exists. Vanity's Emptiness destroys the deck. So does Light-Imprisoning Mirror and other floodgates. Really cool deck, though. Also, the new Buster Blader support destroys the archtype hardcore.

Well, being that it's a series about huge Monsters, and we've seen Monsters in the show in the real world... seems fitting.

I'm going to my first "Major" tourney this weekend (sunday), and the first Major tourney in Brazil.
The best players of the country will be there, but I'm trying to keep the mindset "I can win this".

Someone from here was already in a major tourney and have any advices ?
I already played some matches with the best players from Brazil (online and in one big tourney that i went before), but this is a completely different level, with probably ~150 players.
My first match is against a good Pikachu.. If I don't mess up the dthrow follow up and don't forget to DI his throws, I think everything will be alright.

Some banned cards become unbanned when the metagame evolves and newer types of cards come into existence.
Such as Raigeki.

Thousand-Eyes Restrict is not one of those cards. At least not yet.
It could end up being unbanned in the future, if the official tournament rulings deem the card not quite as broken as back when it WAS banned or any existing combos with the card being game breakers, since some cards get banned based on what they can do when used with other cards rather than on their own.

Honestly, I miss the large extra deck space. Mostly for fusions, as we're too limited on that. Poor Elemental Heroes...

That said, I have some pretty fun decks. One is a Shaddoll/Machines, based upon the Bandit Keith Possessed deck to a degree. Thankfully it's traditional, so Construct's ban didn't affect me.

I would say it was too complicated for the age group it was marketed to. It always seemed closer to Magic than Pokemon to me.

Not my first time.
I played and already won locals and regionals (in my city or cities around).
And I got 9th in the tourney I entered in São Paulo(BR) some months ago.
I'm aware about the nerves, it got me the first times, it was so cruel.
Last time I played (that big but not major tourney some months ago) I played good overall, and "make it into the national scene", so I was pretty happy with it .... I would be happier if I won the Amiibo that the top8 won, but was my fault to lose one fight prior the top8.

But now is a major... People coming from all the states, some people from neighbouring countries.
I will do my best, and try hard to focus but not to mind break.
One good thing about maining Sheik is that I don't need to worry or be salty about characters,
if I lose, it's completely my fault. Before I train MK in Brawl, I cried every single tourney about the Pit's lack of power and other character problems... really bad for me as a player/person to be around.
