If this is really the case, I'll be super mad. Why would they leave such content exclusive to an inferior console in this day when DLC is so easy to do? I love Hyrule Warriors, but I don't want to buy it again and I'm totally willing to pay for this extra content on Wii U.

Heard it's Yuzo Koshiro doing the music. He's worked on Namco x Capcom. His resume is quite big as well and does include Smash Bros. remixes.
Also, here's something I found about why some localized Japanese games don't have the option to hear the original Japanese voices: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=50395479&postcount=1
One of the reasons stated is due to voice actor contractual issues. In some cases, it's stipulated in contracts that their recordings are for exclusive use in Japan, forbidding their usage outside of the country. This means that publishers cannot use the Japanese voice overs when distributing games for international audiences, forcing them to either dub the dialogue or remove it.

In the case of Xenoblade X, it wouldn't surprise me if it was purely a space issue. The game is already packed as it is, fitting all that extra dialogue in would take up a lot.

Yeah, space issues might be the case with Xenoblade X.
Perhaps, they could release a DLC pack with the Japanese voices for free... The original Xenoblade did have the option, as did other Nintendo games such as Fire Emblem: Awakening.
Not that I mind the English dub. It's actually well done, but everyone benefits with the ability to choose.

It's like, the most aggravating place to try to find a rare Yo-kai due to how it is easy to not be in a location to reach the A-rank Yo-kai. Then there is all the narrow spaces making it hard to avoid all these battles. This is much more time consuming then it needs to be.

I just think it has to do with sales. Having the game on another console could bring in a new way for income after all. And besides, it's not like it's the first time they've done this. Look at the Super Mario Advance series, or SM64DS, or OoT and MM3D. They love re-releasing games on portable consoles.

At least you could raise Dodrio.... He is good. If you could grind him up to 40-50 you could have a good team member then. Victory at least has decent levels for you to catch things in. You could get a valuable team mate then. You still have the 8th gym though right? If so then you have the ice mountain and forest left, right?

I want to go back to debating things that are more tangible to me.
Instead, it feels more like pick a random 3rd party that is some what or pretty popular, debate whether they are iconic or not, and forget that even if they are it doesn't mean they WILL be in smash.
Like cool, a lot of people now believe that any character can be in smash. But I mean nothing is being done or said thats convincing.
I mean the problem is, "iconicness" seems to be literally the only thing going for a lot of these 3rd party characters. Sure, it sounds like something that makes sense to be the only thing they need to be in the game...but the problem is there is too many 3rd parties who have this "iconicness."
It has become TOO subjective. There isn't anything to say about any character to get over any other. Like, with K. Rool there was popularity and all his games. With Inklings their first game was a smashing success that exceeded all expectations. And even if none of this mattered in the end, it feel like something I could get behind. But there is nothing to say about there 3rd party characters other then they are "iconic" by the person suggesting the character's term.
It all just feels...empty I guess.
I'm not saying a third party can't happen again, I'm saying that if it does, I don't feel the connection of why they are there over others. Like, I just expect people to say "I was right!" But I mean, on what grounds? How was it not just a lucky guess?
I met him like 5 times now and nothing. The closest I got was one of his cohorts wanting to join instead.
