Supposedly what happened was she ran away with her 24 year old boyfriend (she's seventeen) and he threatened to kill her at one point. Supposedly. The guy in question's locked up as the prime suspect currently, especially since he managed to escape custody while being held for questioning. They tracked him down and he's in the local penitentiary.

And it lines up quite scarily with the fact that they found human remains. Things aren't looking good.
