Can someone explain me what is this Star Fox anime please?
I wasn't in the hunger's games *cry*
Look towards the top of the page. I linked itCan someone explain me what is this Star Fox anime please?
>tfw you're #2 in Melee and Fox is #1
FE had an OVA released in the 90s and was officially dubbed by Nintendo of America.I would actually say Fire Emblem is a more natural fit than Zelda for live action.
But half of the FE fanbase are anime diehards now so it might not blow over well.
Also I know the latter is already happening, but I think Mario would be better off as a TV show (anime or cartoon, doesn't really matter), than a movie. It just makes a lot more sense and would better represent the formula of the games.
The only Mario game that gives off movie vibes at all is Super Mario Galaxy and I don't even want a movie adaptation of that.
Just steal from successful TV shows of the past.Star Fox, Xenobladeand Fire Emblem get their own Anime series
Mario, Zelda and Metroid get Theatrical Releases
Splatoon, Pikmin, Animal Crossing and Kirby get shorts
And Kid Icarus, F-Zero and Punch Out get OVAs
That's how we do it. And the live action goes to Zelda and Metroid
I just mean from a logistical standpoint. In terms of what the universes of the games are.FE had an OVA released in the 90s and was officially dubbed by Nintendo of America.
That series is rooted in anime for YEARS. Plus Zelda is much more mainstream to do it and Mario truly needs his chance on the big screen considering the last one was a massive insult and a failure in every regard.
Fire Emblem is just as fantasy and over the top.I just mean from a logistical standpoint. In terms of what the universes of the games are.
Fire Emblem makes sense for live action more than any other series (except Metroid) because you could easily have a GoT esque series with it. The entire set up of the different kingdoms and lords and what not just works for it.
Zelda makes more sense for something animated, maybe CGI, because it's much more fantastical and one of the defining features of Zelda is it's more unique artistic variance with it's different incarnations.
Mario makes sense for an episodic series because "save the princess" is hard to make into a movie especially when people are not used to seeing Mario talk full sentence, and it's hard to make an interesting story there (and a movie can't get by on just jokes or gags, there needs to be a realised plot for it to be good). The spirit of Mario has always been "do whatever", especially lately, so the episodic TV series just makes more sense for Mario. Each episode has it's own little, cute story that stands on it's own.
The over the top part is exactly why Fire Emblem would work better for live action.Fire Emblem is just as fantasy and over the top.
Every game has for fight a Dragon or Moster at the end and it just feels better.
Zelda would do better IMO in animation but mate we going mainstream here. Fire Emblem isn't good enough for that mainstream feel for a live action series. Plus GoT suck anyway and FE did it before the books were made (FE4).
I need less ripoffs
Pretty nostalgic I must say. I remember back in Middle School around late 2006 - early 2008 my friend would believe every single fake roster he saw on the internet and would get upset when I told him it was fake lol. Good times.I may be nostalgic but all those fanmade roster images for Brawl were some of the best ones.
I'm talking pictures like in this video.
(also by any off-chance, does anyone have the image at 3:12?)
The next newcomer in Smash Bros I bet.So, my friend shared this with me
Believable or bull?
Falco is secretly Westballz
I love the internet
even if he is playing as Fox against himself so he shouldnt be mad
If this was Smash 3DS / Wii U, Falco would have much less problems making successful long-ranged recoveries. It sucks to be playing Melee there right now.
I love the internet
BUT HE ISN"T PLAYING AS FALCO THAT'S WHY THE IMAGE IS CONFUSINGIf this was Smash 3DS / Wii U, Falco would have much less problems making successful long-ranged recoveries. It sucks to be playing Melee there right now.
Perhaps Falco is upset with how poor his Melee incarnation's recovery is. He just falls way too fast in Melee, but at least Brawl and Smash 3DS / Wii U helped make his recovery a bit better.BUT HE ISN"T PLAYING AS FALCO THAT'S WHY THE IMAGE IS CONFUSING
GGRWSHRHSRB
This short is absolutely filled with meme-worthy content. I love it
FixedFalco is secretly Westballz's spirit animal.
I'm a sucker for easter eggs, I love this.http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=201497520&postcount=378
Damn the reference game is so deep it transcends into other series.
*cough*
Looks like Kirby Super Star did get referenced there.http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=201497520&postcount=378

I don't know if I'm more surprised that they put such an easter egg in or that they didn't go with the planets from F-Zero.http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=201497520&postcount=378

It's not that I don't think they CAN'T make it work, I just think it's far better suited to an episodic TV show.I think Mario could still work well as a movie, while the series has a very basic plot, I see the gaps as an open canvas. The best example I could think of is the upcoming Angry Birds movie, which I think looks somewhat okay. They have the basic storyline, but still add in enough things to make it fit in a feature film.
WELP, TIME FOR SCIENCE.Nintendo seriously needs to make this a series.
*puts on tinfoil hat* I wonder if what Falco was playing was the NX.
Imma look at your post if you don't mind. I don't want to have to pause for it.
I love the internet

Komaytos and Metroids have nothing to do with each other and there is nothing you can do to make me think otherwise& share the same enemies.
Why are you listening to Viridi the liar?Komaytos and Metroids have nothing to do with each other and there is nothing you can do to make me think otherwise
Word of God(dess) even says so
Wait, are you just saying that because they wouldn't be stupid enough to break the announcement day with their own video, or. . .They need to do more of this. Really liked the animation.
I dunno, like, I don't care if it's based on Zero honestly. Also that controller Falco was using is kinda funny.it's not NX
Unfortunately, it seems that they were mistaken as they issued a retraction for that. So, my friend shared this with me
Believable or bull?
That was a well done short, it had a lot of character to it as the humor was fun, the action was good, and the little nods (Sauria, the magazine) and the glimpse into Cornelia's normal state were very nice to see. Also, the conspiracy hint at the end was pretty interesting as I remember someone commenting that General Pepper's command may have some shadiness to it that isn't really touched, and we may finally be able to see that with the game.Standalone upload with better picture quality.
