AHAH. I knew something was off on some of the models, but for some reason it was inecplicable to me until now.

Yeah, I agree. Some of the cooler pokemon seem very blah in translation because of the boring, idle pose, contary to their former, extotic, stances.

What i really dislike about 6th gen is how many pokemon lost their personality in their 3d models/idle stance

Scizor has this cool fighting pose in the 2d sprite

But in XY he's just standing their completely devoid of no personality unlike the 2d sprite

Same thing with Weavile
2D sprite is fun and filled with personality

But this is so boring to look at

Thing is, this is the first time a main series game dabbled in 3D...I can understand the simplified poses for a lot of the pokemon since they had to make over 700+ models probably scraping near 800 when counting megas as well as several trainer models...

There's clearly some pokemon that have good poses

A majority of them being megas (Sableye, Blaziken, Medicham) and some lucky ones
I hope now that GF has finished off working on over 700 models they decide to tweak them a bit now for 7th gen

And Opossum I was watching tyranitartube's latest video, and he showed off an interesting fan art take on our unknown bird:

This kind of works for a humming bird, and that, and the next example he showed worked well.

My only problem is the colors. I can't find any hummingbirds by that color. Do you know of any?

But if this does end up being a hummingbird, that's an interesting point for the leak....

I agree. I forgot the pink ones name but they're both fairies, NiGHTS isn't explicitly stated to be one but it makes sense for the designs to be similar since she/he is fairy like. I do recall Iizuka stating in an interview that the two series take place in the same universe so the idea isn't .

Played Touhou for the first time today. Touhou 6, to be exact. Played on Normal difficulty, managed to reach Remilia Scarlet and knock her down to 1 more health bar before getting a game over.

Seeing that 95% completion on the results screen and knowing that I nearly beat the game on my first ever play-though felt really satisfying, despite how much of a tease it is. Now I want to play it again. Bullet Hells are mad addicting.

It's red crest, white face, black body matches that of a Pileated Woodpecker (amoung other Woodpecker species) and it's feet (the artwork shown in your screenshot actually has the wrong feet compared to the model) tells me it's supposed to be a Woodpecker...

However there is another thing I want to point out...The bird people keep comparing this to is also not a hummingbird...It's a Red-crested Cardinal...(Google's ****ing up the keywords, that's what's happening here)

And I can tell you that both Hummingbirds and Cardinals do not have the same feet as shown in the model...I find it odd they'd give a Cardinal the feet from a completely different bird, because its an intentional design choice which I believe is quite obviously based on a Woopecker...

Two little commentarys:

1.- Sigurd completely deserves his own tier... He isn't only a game destroyer, he is THE game destroyer.

OP bases and growth, gigantic movement, and absurdly powerful weapons (Silver Sword and Tyring)... He is perfect. Personally I think see him in the same Tier that Hector is a insult to the Sigurd's OPness.

2.- Unlike Roy Micaiah have some gimmicks to actually be useful (Roy's Utility in Late-game is basically Kill Idoun with a Crt). She can heal with sacrifice and Staffs (that Insta C Rank Staff is delicious, she can use Physics and soon she would be able to use Rescue and Sleep if you really need it). And if you're a risky player, you can try combine Sacrifice with Resolve. Micaiah has enough power and speed to defeat the 3-6 Tigers... in Hard Mode.

I may interrumpt something, but I really want to answer this.

However as said the toe arrangement on it's feet are quite obviously taken directly from Woodpeckers, pretty much all the other birds from pokemon games have the 3-1 arrangement (oddly enough so does Chatot as a Parrot should have similar feet as Woodpeckers, but I think the design was used here to make it slightly more unique), while this one has the 2-2 arrangement like those found in Woodpeckers and Parrots...

Closest birthday for FE units?

My birthday is the filling to a sandwich. I'm stuck between Gunter(June 13th) and Anna(June 11th).

Edit: My list has some weird bias. I included no legendaries because I avoid legendaries for specific reasons. Also, I have extreme bias with water types because, although Water is probably one of my favorite types, it's hard to make my team due to usually picking the water starter

Edit 2: Well, if anything I'm not a gen wunner with favorites. My favorites seem to be gen 4,5,3,6,2,1. Gen 4 was going to have more to but a couple got in over others I would have picked.
