That's alot of word twisting there(much like the Smash fanbase to "Word of God"). I mean, I'm sure he means Mario could never save Toadstool no matter how hard he tried, not that he wouldn't.
That or Mario would never rescue her cause it's because of those wishes that Mario miraculously comes back to life if he falls in a pit or lava and that if it weren't for those wishes, Mario would never be able to save Toadstool. Cause how many times deep down has someone subconsciously thought, "Darnit, why did I die there? I wish I didn't die there."

My favourite characterisations of Bowser are where he's a mix between an impulsive, naive teenager and an experienced, cynical figure, as well as being a loving dad to Jr.

Much more interesting than when they overblow him to be a "duuurrrr so eeeevil" Ganondorf-wannabe.

I was under the impression they were mostly 'anti-capcom' with their sentiments because of the game's lack of single player content, plus how they went about with the release of the game and what not.

From what I can tell, the game is decent for what it has, its just that it leaves alot to be desired for.

Well, I can't imagine anyone hating what the game has itself just what it's lacking. I think that's the sentiment of all the "Anti-SGV" group. They are all just against Capcom's practices.

Is that wrong? Are there people just specifically against the game itself?

I've seen plenty of complaints about Street Fighter V, all of them in regards to the lack of content found in the initial release.

A lot of people are upset paying full price for a game that lacks features deemed as staples of the series and having it relegated to patches that will only be released months after the actual release.

The gameplay itself hasn't been targeted. It's just the sheer lack of content and relegating most of it to post-release while paying full price for the game that is rubbing people the wrong way, which honestly is fairly understandable.

I like her comics, however the part where Geno states "Without the aid of Star Road you'd probably never be rescued." or anything insinuating that wasn't in the game. In fact, here is the part where he talks about it.

All he really says is that wishes cannot be granted by Star Road anymore and they need to get the Star Pieces back to fix it.

Hector is probably the best lord in the series tied only to Eliwood himself imo
Lyn is cool and all but she gets as relevant as Mark was im her story post-Chapter 10 which gives her Chrom level of character development

In Conquest, you get it on Chapter 19 and another in Paralogue 18
Both are boss drops
Dunno about the other routes

I think I've played through FE8 3 times.
Eirika... just never got potent. Worse than my experiences with Lyn.
"Basically a myrmidon" felt very innacurate to me.
Because your main myrm in FE8 is...
