.....this pokmn directs honestly doesn;t mean that, I mean we did got one last year.....

But the thign is I do have a lot of reasons to care for a global direct:

• So that this Paper Mario runmor likely becomes false (I am loosing a lot of faith in it because if they were this close to get it done, they woudlnm;t wait this long to announce it)
• It's likely one of or the last direct before the NX announcement which shoudl be interesting
• Super paper Mario is still leaked to be on JP VC so seriously, I hope we can get stuff on that
• details ont he nintendo account thingy, what are platinum points? Why a paper would care?
• Curious on how the new CEO meant by goign to have chnages on the directs

I agree that we could definitely need one, but it still might be awhile. The pokemon one shows they at least have interests in keeping the direct name. Maybe they will make directs shorter from now on, but focused solely on one game at a time?

UK hype

As much as I'd love that my experience with the UK appearing in foreign media, London would take up 75% of the map, Scotland would only be Glasgow & a generic Highland area and Wales would just be a Mareep pen.

. . .Canada. Largely because being a Tails fan has driven me to the far regions of hipsterdom, although Alberta's reputation for fossils also is a massive boon to the country.

Realistically I'm expecting Italy or mayyybe Germany next, though, with the UK also being pretty up there in likelihood.

If I were to guess, I'd say the UK as GF has visited it before and they could use the countries historical ties to other countries to develop the region and the world around it.

I always associated Sinnoh with Canada because of the colder weather and Beavers...

This is coming from a Canadian, mind you....and I am aware that the region is based off of Hokkaido of Japan...but I would not object to an actual Canada with a brand new Moose Pokemon and an Ice Wolf XD

Mountainous regions to the west separated by Deserts and Praries with forested areas and lots of cities near large bodies of fresh water with freezing cold weather to the north...and various oceanic islands and harbours to the east...

One thing I value a lot for a region's design is water routes. I don't like traversing them but they help enhance the feeling of adventure, with you and your mons overcoming nature's great obstacles. Problem is after the big Hoenn blowout, the scaled a bit too far back. Kalos's water route was little more than a GET THE BADGE block. Not to mention the Sea Spirit Shrine being a wash. (Pun unintended)

IF the theory thatat Z is truly different like the past two 3rd games have been. Then we could see a new region made up for it, and gen 6.5. But I think it be a sub region to kalos so they could keep the starters. Although new starters and then mega Kalos mons is possible. Although some people think a South American Region could be tied to this.

Which could get of work with a south seas region. Have a tropical place, but also an tropical ocean.

One last idea, Pokemon in the Caribbean! Then we'd get that Orange Island game all the anime fans won't stop going on about.

I can only imagine how thrilled IGN would be with this, as "to much water" strikes back.

I've seen this brought up throughout the internet, which was to many codenames.

Which is honestly true. It makes little sense that he would just get this info, and they'd all be codenames. IF they were meant to be out this year, this would most likely not be the case.
Plus it provides them a way out, by saying,
"Oh I'm still right, that's just the final name over the codename obviously!"

I really doubt it.

Can't wait for the direct though, just because there are a lot of great possibilities for what could be shown!
