Well Nintendo knew the Wii U was in deep poopoo and the NX was going to need support by then.
Considering what was going to happen with Brawl, it's entirely possible we're just getting a vanilla port for the next console generation and that's it, but the time frame at least allows the possibility.
Why would they even be getting "a lot done" if it was just a port?
There's only a certain amount of work you can do before you may as well just slap a new name on it and call it a new thing, even if it shares the same physics and engine.
Why would they take the exact amount of time typically used for a full game to just make a port?
The idea of a port that most people have had( at least from what I've seen), is that it would be
SUPER Super Smash Bros, and kind of like an ultimate street fighter type game.
Basically a small expanded version of smash 4, that combines both versions, adds some more characters, maybe more stages and modes as well. Thus the game would be a port but still require some work on it.
I watched my friends play them on the 3DS.
Alright, cool. It's definitely better to watch them in action.
Even after the first week of February is over, I'm still hyped. As if Weirdmageddon Part 3 can't hurry its way here.
When Gravity Falls ends, I'll have zero reason to watch any Disney channels other than Star Butterfly.
This, plus deadpool comes out then as well! Which I can't wait for!
But... But... Wander Over Yonder. Penn Zero. Lab Rats.
Wander over Yonder is pretty good. One of my favorite Creig Mcracken shows. Lab rats is nice to.
I think making a poll here might prove interesting, but to my knowledge this place leans more towards the 2017 release.
Meanwhile places like GAF and the majority of gaming journalists and analysts believe (by and large) it will be 2016. Probably because the latter has a more business and industry-oriented perspective while this place tends to have a more Nintendo fan-oriented perspective.
Yep!
Both Brawl and Smash 4 were announced too early as far as I'm concerned.
And, as with all Smash fans who initially bemoan a character reveal, the other shoe drops.
I'm curious to know if anyone here has absolutely no plans to buy some or any of the DLC characters.
A poll could be interesting, but your analysis of how different sights view it are spot on. Even from a business standpoint, I don't understand why a 2016 release would be viewed as good. With Titles like Zelda U and Starfox, it be bad to overshadow them with a whole new console.
Hooded found an interesting comparison.
And apparently the similarities don't even stop there.
Man Sakurai is really making it his goal to completely and utterly crush any chance of a sequel for this doing well!
"That will teach them to steal my baby's name and concept!"
