Anyone else find it hilarious the announcer has a "Wait, really? Why did no one tell me this?" tone when Bayonetta is selected?

Honestly, it still boggles my mind that Bayonetta is in an E+10 game. There's just soo much you wouldn't expect to get by when it comes to her: Final Climax, a lot of her body language, dat ass, etc...

Also, I found this, which I couldn't help but laugh at.

So, according to the anime, Ash-Greninja is a Mega Evolution that didn't require a Mega Stone.

I KO'd a Fox on the leftmost side of Corneria with the final hit of Bayo's Jab Combo when he was at 35%.... That startled me.

Are you referring to Mega Rayquaza or the Genesect movie Mewtwo?
Pretty sure he meant M Ray considering it broke the meta game.

Anyways, Alan (the mega evo guy from the anime) said that Greninja Mega evolved on its own due to its tight bond with Ash.

RIP Pikachu

Sounds lie the uncomfortable compromise of having to show off Mega Evolution and being forced to give Ash only new Pokemon.

Still can't get over the stock elephant noise at the end. Does Gomorroah sound like that in the original games?

There was a problem fetching the tweet

Day 3 : Most overrated game

I can't wait however to replay it to lose myself in their glitches.

Day 4 : Most underrated game

On par with Johto for the place of my favorite Pokémon generation.

I just found out that Land Before TIme XIII decided to add Therizinosaurs into the story

Which is interested, because they are a "Plant Eater" but are related to T-Rex and Raptors

...

There only problem? Compare these 2 images

They are kind of missing one of the most prominent points of the Therizinosaur. It's giant claws. That is THE thing the Therizinosaur is known for. It had unusually massive claws on it's hands.

Not to mention, although the picture doesn't show it well, Therizinosaurs DID have sharp teeth. They just used them for eating plants rather than meat. Probably didn't grind them in their mounths.

Edit: Also, Therizinosaurs were a size comparable to a T-Rex, their forelimbs alone being 8 feet long. The whole animal was around 33 feet tall

Edit 2: Although, apparently they used a smaller species, the "Beipiaosaurus" which was considerably smaller. LOL, oops.

But it still didn't look friendly

Edit 3: The land before time wiki uses the same picture of Therizinosaur I used above and describes Therizinosaur.

On a side note, do you remember Xander Mobus declared he made a quote yelling "Super SMAAAAAAASH Bros. for Wii U !" on the title screen like for 64 and Melee but it wasn't put on the base game ?

Well, when they'll release the ultimate patch, it would be a cool way to add it as the final touch.

Day 4 : Most underrated game

Gen V was superb, it was exactly what was needed at a time where the franchise was beginning to get stale. Contrary to what seems to be the general opinion I do far prefer Black and White to their sequels, the sequels had far superior post-game content but that's about it, otherwise they felt like a step back in comparison to the originals. I also get that people prefer being able to catch other Pokémon than Gen V ones, but I didn't really mind that there only were Gen V Pokémon in Black and White, in fact I found it to be a very effective way of introducing us to the new Pokémon, it made me like some Pokémon that I probably would never have used had there been alternatives from old generations. Black and White were probably the closest I've come to feeling the same sensation from a Pokémon game as I did when I first picked up Red as a kid, it did a lot of new things, broke several stale conventions and really pushed the franchise in the right direction, I'd even argue that the series has taken a slight step backwards since and needs to be a more daring again in the future.

My own most underrated Nintendo game would probably be another Pokémon game in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, it might even be better than any main series Pokémon game imo.

I finally got the chance to try out Corrin and Bayonetta last night. Corrin was definitely worth the hype. His tilts make for some easy yet effective combos, the counter is pretty cool, and landing a KO with his neutral special feels really satisfying. I still need to learn how to use his side special properly (when trying to latch onto the ground), but once I can master that, I think Corrin could definitely be secondary material. I even enjoy playing as both the male and female Corrins compared to Robin; I only enjoy playing Male Robin, but I guess that's because I like the Male Robin's palette swaps far more than Female's, whereas with Corrin, there are two palette swaps I really like for both genders.

Bayonetta is another really fun character. I can definitely notice the learning curve that's needed when using her, so it makes me a little less confident in her being secondary material compared to my initial thoughts when she was first revealed... but I think learning how to use her properly will make for a great experience anyway.

Bayonetta actually reminds me of Snake.

The way they move is really similar and they both do dumb damage with big disjointed moves.

Fits like a glove to me.

(Ryu is sort of like this but he's far less lumbering in terms of speed and frame data)

Apparently Bayo has a couple of Akira's (from Virtua Fighter) moves.

Forward throw being one of them.

So is no one gonna talk about how Corrin's Up-Taunt looks a little familiar

Is Corrin's Wii U All-Star pic a reference to Snow White?

Anyway, I got to try out the two characters, their pretty complex but I can see some good potential in them.
Umbra clock tower is a pretty cool stage too albeit a little on the distracting side.

Well we are at the end of the road now for Smash 4, it was a very fun ride. You did a great job mr Masahiro Sakurai! ^^
