1. No, I think Corrin was made fun because Sakurai wanted them to be fun.
2. Same thing as a melee attack...I would imagine. That's how it works in Bayonetta.

2. The projectile disappears from what Ive seen. Nothing else happens

Projectiles are slowed but not the fighter who used them...basically just makes her dodge the projectile safely...

Speaking of Bayo...I love her dair, spikes if her heel hits and she can recover very easily after using it...makes for great edgeguarding...
fair has some decent follow-ups, first hit true combos into upB, plus it has it's own follow-ups like jab and ftilt...
jab 1 into grab at zero looks like a thing as well...though her grab don't really have reliable follow-ups from what I can tell...

I'm downloading the latest patch. I'm hyped.

Seen the Wii U select screen... Ended up better than I imagined. Pac-Man being apart from the third-parties notwithstanding, but at least the Zelda crew is all together. (At least, Pac-Man represents his own series, so he doesn't really need to be with anyone in particular.)

Few thoughts after playing with the DLC for about an hour after work.

Corrin is fun, but for someone who has a lot going for them to make them different. He/She still feels pretty normal FE rep to me. Still not a bad character and he/she's definitely more unique than I'm giving them credit for.

Bayonetta is a blast. She feels like she stepped out of her games and I love that.

Solid. Feels a bit hodgepodge at times but still very fun and effective.


Wonky as hell. But in a good way. She's got a learning curve but there is something special here.

Corrin and Bayonetta are both really fun. Corrin's Counter Surge is so cool, especially with the dragon roar; probably my favourite counter move. I find Corrin to be easier to use while Bayonetta relies more on combos so it'll take a lot more time to master her. Her up taunt is hilarious though.

Corrin and Bayonetta are both unique and fun additions to the roster from what I've played of them so far.

By the way, congrats to those who voted for Bayonetta. There are other characters, both first and third party, that I would have preferred (admittedly, that's partially because I have yet to play her games aside from the Bayo 2 demo), but I'm happy for her fans that she got in.

Hey, he's called "Blood of Dragon" for a reason. Nowhere does that say "Head of Dragon", "Wing of Dragon", etc.

All-Star mode's final stage on the 3DS has its date changed from "2007-2013" to "2007-2015" to reflect Corrin's addition. Same goes for the first stage of All-Star on the Wii U.

According to ShinyQuagsire, all the blank spots have been filled up in the placeholder data now, except for that one stage, which I'm pretty confident to say was originally Pirate Ship for 3DS, that got scrapped and replaced with Duck Hunt for 3DS.
