So, after playing sometime in FG against a bunch of Bayonettas and one Corrin, I can gather that:
-Bayo's recovery sucks, it would be Little Mac bad tier if not for the side b
-witch time is ****ing impossible to get right
-Bayo needs to stop talking
-oh, the smash attacks change color depending on the alt's hair color, neat
-no one uses neutral b
-smash attacks are actually very slow
-RECOVER. LOW.
-**** Corrin's down b
-side b hitbox is weird
-decent recovery, laughable air jump
-no one uses neutral b
-**** that side smash
-one guy played him
-it wasn't even the female one smh

I played a few local matches with the characters with someone first, so I still haven't entirely gotten to practice with them properly.

I am horrible enough at QTEs without not having played Bayo's game and thus not being used to the prompt, so I clearly need to practice with her Final Smash for them casual matchies. Maybe I should beat All-Star as her first so I can get the Trophy for it. That'll probably make it easier.

Haven't set off Corrin's Final Smash either because I'm too twitchy and reckless for proximity Final Smashes. XD

CSS is fine...at least Link is back with his buddies...it's a little weird Pac-Man isn't with the other third parties but he's from a separate series anyways so I'll live with it...

Clones are with clones, DLC are with DLC, and all the series are grouped together...

As for the new characters, I'm not really feeling them () myself...still takes some getting used to I guess since I only messed around with them for about 20 minutes each so far...

one thing I do want to see are the upgraded patch notes...I don't know if it's just placebo, but it feels like Link has slightly better ground movement...

Also speaking of Shulk...I think I'm gonna play start to play some Xenoblade Chronicles!!...

In all seriousness though, I don't mind the characters. I don't think I'll be maining them anytime soon, but as they are I don't mind them.
Still, it's amazing to see that we're finally reached the end of the road (again). Now here's hoping speculation stays dead.

confirmed...only when charging it though, the sawblade doesn't come out if you just throw it out...deals some decent damage if you catch them upclose, (about 22%? if fully charged) doesn't have a lot of knockback because that's all in the tipper...
This makes it more difficult for the opponent to challenge it as well...

Ok, Corrin is fun to play as. Enjoying him more than I thought I would.

Bayonetta, while on the difficult side, is also really fun to play as. It's a struggle, but I'll hopefully be able to get good with her.

Also, the Umbra Clock Tower stage is amazing and I'll probably be playing on this stage the most with friends.

Corrin seems to have a ton of movement issues.

I constantly start running left when I hold right, and vice-versa, when coming out of Pinning someone, or doing a move where I become part dragon.

There is an AT with Corrin that lets you pin yourself instantly as well.

Goodness Corrin is amazing! The side smash is the best ledge guarding tool in the history of Smash! His counter not only looks cool, it also has some amazing range and damage to it. Im still working on the side special. Walls are his friend. His aerials are swift and do nice damage as well. Seriously, no complaints on my end.
