He kinda lost all of his face (And somehow grew a nose)
So he's a designated member of the Fighting Polygon Team
+Stone Robe with Gold instead of Puffy Cotton stuff
And his rock kinda exploded too
Which was the reason we were supposed to make these in the first place

I meant most of the people supporting it are white (and that's because the amount of whites is simply bigger at this point). Not that the NCAI doesn't exist or do great things.

Well that's pretty much a given. If I'm reading the census correctly, they only make up 1.7% of the US population. The rest of the support is bound to be whites and other groups. Which is a good thing, because it means the Native American voices are being heard and something is being done about it, like changing the Tomahawk to a Cowboy.

It correctly predicted Rosalina and Bowser Jr, and outright stated that Daisy and Waluigi had no chance...

And look how that turned out . Well I think they both have a decent shot next time around, as we are running out of major Mario characters to put in.

Some people will get it right and others wont. I'll admit, I was wrong about a lot of things. I did get Shulk, Little Mac and Palutena right, and I was at least on the right track with Chrom and a Rhythm Heaven character (were considered from the info we have). If anything, this is all in good fun, and for us fanatic fans it can be hard to see it at times.

With Dark Samus canonically dead I would put it as a darkhorse.
I would also move Chibi robo to darkhorse and EBA to unliekly

I think this shows that, unless a character has staying power throughout their series, their chances to be in Smash are on the low side.

Oh it's yeah definitely different in some areas, but it's clearly based on Smash's design rather than his older one (or FEA's which is just a souped up Hero armor).

We could probably count the original Metroid as well. Sure it wasn't the same design but same premise. No suit samus.

And technically she appears in various forms for the endings.

Watching old prediction videos for Smash is really awkward to watch due to that so many things changed from 2011-2015.


I mean at one point in time, we went from Skull Kid and Magnus being shoo-ins to Ridley and Waluigi to Chorus Kids and Chrom to a cut cast of Wolf and Ice Climbers (solo or together) to the Smash ballot of K. Rool, SK and Banjo.

It just shows how much things can change and that a lot of things aren't set in stone and won't last. Krystal was at one point a massive possibility for Brawl and her campaign dropped like a rock when Star Fox decided to go for the soft-reboot and poor poor Isaac fell hard from the transfer.

I just believe we won't see the same old guys we had before with our predictions and it'll change at any time. While the Ridleys, Ashleys and K. Rools still last, other won't as well depending on what can happen. We will never have a true shoo-in ever

Plus, Ness was on the brink of being cut in Melee, but now he's still a mainstay and he's seen as one of the always returning characters. So if a character was only possibly going to be cut and wasn't I don't see how it's too big a deal.

Well if we go with the Gematsu rumor, the dev team was struggling to cut either Ness or Lucas.

Hmm. Partially. The trend seems more drastic prior to anyone even having any information about the game than knowing impact would seemingly warrant, seeing as the video game character pool was still pretty similar in the 2011-2013 year range. I think there must be a second factor here.

Also on a mostly unrelated note, the same guy's wishlist a year later was slightly more accurate than his predictions.

He got three characters right instead of just one, and this wasn't who he expected, but who he WANTED.

. . .Also this video is a good way to prove Shulk was requested pre-Gematsu, in case the people who were bitter about him during the Gematsu craze and grumble about him being "anime" start kicking up a fuss again.
