Wolf was cut, Ness was not. It balances out: Jr is not in any boat.
I don't see why Jr can't become a higher priority for Smash 5. He's only been positively received, no debates about him being a clone or anything, and he's seen a lot of play. Just because something may've obstructed him getting into Smash 4 doesn't mean that same thing will stop him in Smash 5.
I'm not saying he can't get better chances for Smash 5 by the time it comes around, but as of right now, if any character is at risk, he is definitely on that list. He is in a similar boat what Wolf was in with Brawl right now.
Also do you have a source on him seeing a lot of play? I rarely hear of him at tournaments and there is literally no data for casual play as far as I'm aware.

I mean, sure it's "censorship" but using the broadest definition of it is just stupid. Not all censorship is bad. What China and North Korea does is bad censorship. Changing an Indian to a Cowboy is understanding the differences between cultures.
Ya, but even that went under some criticism. Originally, the Heavy's Buffalo Steak Sandwich was a Peyote cactus. They changed it to a hunk of meat since they deemed it a bit racist of the Heavy going around on a cactus drug induced rage while wearing a feather headdress.
Sakurai LITERALLY said he was low priority and almost did not make it as a result.
Again, this can change between now and the next full fledged installment of Smash. But as of right now, Bowser Jr. is one of the most likely newcomer cuts, if not the most likely one. Even if you go into how he is in the Mario series itself, things look dicey. He missed out on quite a few major titles, like 3D World and Mario Kart 8.
Wow, I'm watching videos of what people thought was gonna happen with DLC and the top pick on two different lists so far has been Ice Climbers.
Thinking on it, Nintendo probably doesn't want to waste development time completely redoing them when other characters could be added with less effort and more recognition.
I fully expect them to show back up when handheld tech and console processing power progress enough to handle four player handheld Ice Climbers and eight player console Ice Climbers, but really thinking about it the fact that some people thought it was basically a guarantee that Nintendo was going to completely redo a fairly ignored veteran in order to add them back into the series prematurely seems kind of off.
If and when we ever get a non-ported Smash game again, I think the systems will be advanced enough to handle them again. But in the meanwhile, I don't expect them to get completely redone to cheat weak hardware. Honestly they're too obscure to warrant that and Nintendo knows it.
I'll welcome them with open arms when it's finally their time to shine again, though.
Anyone one where I can find a good 3DS SD card? Without one my ability to get both versions of Fates is nonexistent. Is there one for the original 3DS or am I just boned?

And even then it gets put under scrutiny. Point is, Native Americans aren't extremely fond of being used as caricatures. Just look at all the Native American sports mascots that are being pushed to change.
Are you aware of the "EarthBound Zero" ROM floating around the internet?
That was in fact an official prototype of the canceled US released. Hell, that exact same prototype is what you're playing on the Wii U Virtual Console release.
And even then it gets put under scrutiny. Point is, Native Americans aren't extremely fond of being used as caricatures. Just look at all the Native American sports mascots that are being pushed to change.
Less American Tribes take issue with that than you'd think. There were petitions by the tribes to keep some of them because the group liked the attention.
Of course, this shouldn't be taken as proof for all tribes.
For all intents and purposes, it's a time capsule of one of the last moments before the first three character reveals and Gematsu skewed any remaining speculation.
For reference,
10. = DLC
9.-6. = Nope
5.-3. = In base game
2. = Nope
Honorable mentions-1. = One guess right in each list, the rest are incorrect.
I may get him later on, but I have the smaller 3. The big one costs a bit more, and I haven't found it in stores here yet, so I'll probably wait to the next time I get an amazon gift card and buy it then.
So here's a 98.774% likely fake leak of a Nintendo Direct happening on the 3rd that I've found on VGChartz but is from 4Chan
Nintendo Direct 2.3.2016
I got this information from a trustworthy source at NoA. So let's get started.
- "Xenoblade Chronicles X: The Secret of Mira" announced as a Story DLC for Xenoblade Chronicles X. It takes place 3 years after the events of the main game and humanity has found another continent on Mira. The player explores this new continent through this additional 10 hours campaign. However, the player must have finished the main story of Xenoblade Chronicles X before he can play this DLC. Xenoblade Chronicles X: The Secret of Mira will launch later this year.
- New trailer for Fire Emblem Fates. Game launches as previously announced on 2/19.
- New trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD. The game features a Hero Mode and allows easy inventory control with the gamepad. It also includes an updated version of Link's Crossbow Training. This version uses the Wii U Gamepad as a controller to aim. Players who own the Wii version can also use the Wii Zapper. Twilight Princess HD launches on 3/4.
- "Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenges" announced for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS eshop. In this game you use your amiibo of characters from the Super Mario series to play stages based on that character. The game supports the amiibo of Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Rosalina, Bowser and Bowser Jr. It will launch on Nintendo eshop on 2/11 for free until 3/31. Starting 4/1 it will cost $7.99.
- New trailer for Pokken Tournament that shows Greninja and Jigglypuff as new playable fighters. The game also supports the amiibo of Pikachu, Mewtwo, Lucario, Charizard, Greninja and Jigglypuff. They can be used like in Super Smash Bros or Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash as a computer player that can be leveled up and against whom you can fight. The Pokemon amiibo line will start in May with Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Machamp, Blaziken and Gardevoir. More Pokemon amiibo will follow afterwards. Pokken Tournament will launch on 3/18.
- "Detective Pikachu: Mysterious Cases" announced for Nintendo 3DS. The game will launch on 2/25 on the 3DS eshop.
- new trailer for Star Fox Zero that shows a local coop multiplayer mode and some new stages. Star Fox Zero will also support amiibo. On 4/22 three amiibo from the Star Fox series will launch: Arwing, Landmaster and Gyrowing. Tapping a amiibo will unlock missions based on the vehicle of the amiibo. Star Fox Zero will launch on 4/22. A bundle including a Arwing amiibo and a copy of the game will launch on the same day. There will also be a 3-pack including the Arwing, Landmaster and Gyrowing amiibo on the same day.
- Pikmin 4 announced. The game will take place in the human world where the player explores old factories or school buildings. It also introduces a new type of Pikmin: the Dig Pikmin. These Pikmin can dig under earth and can pass walls that way. Pikmin 4 will also be compatible with amiibo. The game will launch in summer 2016.
- New content announced for Super Mario Maker. A free update on 2/9 will bring colored pipes, fire brothers, star coins, Ice flowers and a feature with which you can upload speedruns of levels to YouTube (Google Account required). The next packs are: Mountains theme (March), Swamp theme (May) and Desert theme (June).
- "Box-Boy: Blocks over Blocks" announced for 3DS eshop. This time Qbby has two different blocks to use adding a whole new level of strategy. Box-Boy: Blocks over Blocks will launch shortly after the presentation.
- DLC announced for Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash. There will be 4 packs with each including 2 new characters and two new dream courts. The first pack will include Koopa and Paratroopa and the stages "Mushroom Kingdom" and "Luigi's Mansion". This pack will be available on 3/9. The other 3 packs will follow afterwards. Alongside the first pack a free update will be released adding ring and item battles as well as a tourney mode.
- more Wii disc games are heading to Wii U eshop. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword will be available on 2/4, Kirby's Epic Yarn on 3/3 and Xenoblade Chronicles on 4/7.
- new Splatoon amiibo announced: Marie, Callie and Octoling. Like the first 3 amiibo those will also unlock new singleplayer stages. These new amiibo will launch in April.
- Mother 3 localization announced. The game will be called "Earthbound 2" in the west and will feature english subtitles. It will launch on Wii U eshop after the presentation.
- The presentation ends with a new teaser for The Legend of Zelda for Wii U. A dedicated presentation about the new Zelda game for Wii U will be hosted in March.
1) Xeno DLC seems unlikely due to the DLC being on disc in the U.S. and does that time gap make sense? I haven't beat the game yet, but I feel that be weird with how it's playing out. If this could be answered without spoilers, that be nice!
2) Pokken not launching with a full set of amiibois odd. Sure smash didn't either, but they launched like 12 at once. If pokken has 20 character( 6 of whom are in Smash and have amiibo), then that's only 14 you need to make. I can't imagine that being hard. Sure the smash ones could be remade with pokken poses, but I don't think that be to hard.
3) Paid DLC for Mario Maker wouldn't make sense, but I'll say this if it is just themes, then it almost works, but people would still get upset.
4) Mario Tennis DLC. Lol nope, they barely cared to put effort into making it, why bother to do DLC?
5) Octoling amiibo does not work with the other two, as it has no code, and makes little sense since there are not playable octolings.
6) Zelda U Direct? Well this is the first a Direct Leak, has leaked another Direct....
Anyway March makes no sense. With no smash, it be better to do a huge Zelda Direct for E3.
For all intents and purposes, it's a time capsule of one of the last moments before the first three character reveals and Gematsu skewed any remaining speculation.

Splatoon has had some form of regular content updates holding people's attention.
The audience to incentivise them doing paid DLC is already there.
This is a common practice in online shooters.
It doesn't matter if you start paid DLC late if you had updates grabbing people's attention anyway.
Smash started paid DLC earlier but Splatoon has ultimately been doing the same thing with free DLC (i.e. holding people's attention). So they can start the paid stuff whenever.
Less American Tribes take issue with that than you'd think. There were petitions by the tribes to keep some of them because the group liked the attention.

I never said they were white. Maybe I phrased it awkwardly or something.
I meant most of the people supporting it are white (and that's because the amount of whites is simply bigger at this point). Not that the NCAI doesn't exist or do great things.
