They had every reason to do so because he violated an NDA and he didn't exactly keep himself composed.

Not giving us Mother 3, as its "too risky" when its been translated by fans for years, and those same translators have offered their services for free.

Fair enough although I do feel that Mother 3 might be coming soon. Just a hunch.

The Fates censorship is a big part, not because of the content removed, but the lack of a replacement.

I can agree with that. Or at least that a slight tweak should be made somewhere so supporting is a little easier although that one free dlc map should really help if you want to grind the hell out of it. I really don't care about it a whole lot though but having some form of gameplay cut is saddening even if it's entirely optional and minor. What's more pathetic are some of the generalisations people make about those complaining about the cut.

The Fates Special Edition is a huge middle finger, as it sold out the day it went up, and scapers are charging between $250-300 for the title online, with no sign of restocks.
Also Bayonetta 2 was running pretty high. It did get a restock, but now it lacks Bayonetta 1 for no reason, which gives scalpers with the original release reason to overprice it.

NOA aren't exactly a charity and be thankful you at least even have a release date for Fates. Signed: An Englishman still waiting for a damn release date.

Amiibos are starting to get easier to find, but the pacing is terrible. It feels like they are releasing way too many too quickly, and requiring ownership of newer amiibos to unlock content in newer releases. This isn't so much because of NOA, yet I feel they do have a say when to release certain amiibos, as Japan usually gets them earlier. Also, WHY does NOA choose to go with 3 pack amiibos and no alternatives?! This is so dumb, as I want KK Slider and not Cyrus and Reese, yet they force us to buy all three, while the rest of the world can get them separate.

First it was them being hard to find. Now it's "There's too many of them!"

I dunno if we're still talking about this, but whatever. I already wrote this.

My advice is just try to turn the parts of the game you don't like into a joke. Better to laugh it off than stew in it. Healthier too.

Most of my criticms of Smash 4 are not to do with the roster but to do with the modes and features of the game. Like, for example, poor netcode. I'm sorry but there is nothing funny about a game with poor netcode, especially when it's made by Bandai Namco (who normally have great netcode in their games), in 2016. It's a valid thing to be frustrated with and critical of, and can directly hamper my enjoyment of the game.

That's just one thing that holds Smash 4 back for me. But if we treat every criticism of the game as if it's no big deal that doesn't matter and that we should laugh them off, then the developers will too, and then the series is less likely to improve and fix legitimate issues.

I'd rather see legitimate issues fixed than be a blind Sakurai/Bandai Namco/Nintendo worshipper.

I'm demi-heterosexual (and all of the characters in FE: Fates, including Corrin, look one-dimensional and uninteresting to me so I will not feel connected to them in any deep way), have no immediate interest in buying FE: Fates regardless of it's content, and normally am turned off by "overly weeb" stuff (e.g. #FE), and I still have multiple issues with the idea of them removing the skin-shipping mini-game, and have taken issue with a lot of NoA censorship in the past. Assuming it's true, which it may not even be due to that one e-mail, I think removing the skin-shipping mini-game, is hypocritical of NoA, and misguided since they could just fix the more questionable dialogue to make the sexual connotations it sometimes has much less corny and prevalent (which is the main issue people had).

I mean hell, let's assume someone is angry over it, because they wanted to skin-ship with their waifu. Is that wrong? Maybe someone who works a hard job and doesn't get much time to go out and meet real women, just wants some form of feeling extra companionship with a character in their favourite strategy game while they take the lonely evening bus home. That seems like a perfectly valid reason to want this kind of thing in the game and be upset when it's removed after MONTHS of it being touted as this big new feature of the game.

This writing off people who are dissatisfied with this potential change, comes across as a classic case of "muh 'Muricanism".

And the skin-shipping isn't inherently sexual objectification, people saying it is are misinformed.

My real big issue with it being potentially censored though is that it is optional anyway. If someone doesn't want to do skin-shipping, they don't have to.
