I'm pretty sure that it came from people counting all the trophies and coming up one short for each version when comparing it to Sakurai's number.

It's possible Sakurai just goofed. Tis a lot of trophies.

The Mii costumes are kinda BS though imo. They should really not be as pricey as they are, especially in a bundle.

Ah, Feb is going to be a great month, with Smash DLC starting early and Fates coming in later.

Also, I decided to look back on all of the Mii Costumes. Geez, Swordfighter got a lot of lovin' in terms of costumes. Gunner, a bit less, but certainly not as bad as the Brawler. But then again, I'm not exactly a fan of the roster character costumes and "mascot" costumes.

The DLC is priced fairly on it's own, but it adds up to feel a bit much.

Getting all of the characters probably costs at least a third of the price of the actual game.

I find it funny how people complain Rosalina doesn't sound like she's in enough pain with her KO sound effects (even though that's the point, it's not really damaging her), and now the opposite complaint is being directed at Bayonetta.

You and thousands of other people, considering none of the most popular candidates in the SSB community got in. I'm sure there's more people in this thread who wanted someone other than Corrin and Bayonetta than there are people who are super happy and wouldn't trade either of them out.

However those were the most liked comments in the videos, so more people might become aware of this "claim" and keep spreading the word of this rumor

I might not buy Corrin just because I don't care about the character, I don't feel the need to populate my roster with any more FE individuals, and I'm not wild about the heavily promotional reasons for the inclusion. But he/she looks interesting, so you all have fun with the character!

Probably wouldn't buy Bayo either if she had kept her ridiculous giraffe proportions which I really don't like and totally would've clashed with the rest of the roster but they evened her out and I've thus warmed up to her. Looking forward to giving her a try. In her Bayo 1 costume ofc.

People aren't necessarily stupid (though there are some exceptions), speculation just is predominantly people thinking too much inside the box, logical as their reasoning might be. Plus those who choose to think outside the box usually either overdue it, eventually bandwagon into support of "acceptable" choices or are chastised by the other folks until they shut their mouths.
