On another topic, have you guys ever listen to the CD-i Zelda music? It's surprisingly good and it has a strong Megaman feel to it.

What the hell are you blabbing on about now?
Do you engage in angry physical intercourse with Chrom=???
I don't want to look back at the gaming industry 5-10 years from now and live in a world where you have to pay more for used games (or used games are even banned) and have privacy invaded.
Not only that, but where does it end=??? Are used consoles banned, or do you have to pay fee to use them used=??? What about used cars=??? Do car-makers get a cut of that, too=??? Used computers=??? Heck, you could apply this to any sort of technological thing.

Do not wish suffering upon anyone, incorporated or not.
It only breeds further suffering within your soul.
I fail to see why after all the bad things surrounding the Xbox One that they don't deserve some long-term damage to their reputation. What Microsoft is doing is heading the video game industry into a dangerous path that it may never recover from.

The only way we can stop the Xbox One is if gamers recognize that Microsoft has crossed the line with this console. Gamers should be alarmed by the developments surrounding the Xbox One and the damage it can cause to the industry. It's time the gamers unite to tell Microsoft that enough is enough.

Lucina looks MAAAHHHHHDDDD!!! :rotfl:
Then Geno tries to pick a fight with K. Rool just to get both of his arms bitten off. Ridley eventually sets him on fire and munches on popcorn with K. Rool until he's reduced to ashes. His star body appears and was eventually sucked up by K. Rool's Blunderbuss and ejected into the sky. Both reptiles shook hands and was glad to kill off that Zatch Bell reject and piss off his fans.

I can tell Psycho would be pissed when he sees this. :troll:
But, but, but I love Geno. You should have just walked him to the door, and said "sorry, but Square Enix sucks," which is why he'll never be playable...

WHY SQUARE ENIX!?!?!? WHY CAN'T WE GET GENO IN SMASH OR A SUPER MARIO RPG!?!?!? WHY MUST WE BE STUCK WITH A TERRIBLE PAPER MARIO GAME IN STICKER STAR!?!?!? :crying:

WHY!?!?!? WHY, WHY, WHY!?!?!?

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ You brought it up. It kinda came off like you had some sexual fixation with Chrom. I wanted you to deconfirm it (you kinda sorta didn't).

We can do this by not buying their console, and watching it burn. We can send the same message to Sony too with their ability to leave it up to developers to charge for used games. With these developments, gaming could literally begin its' path of being only for the high class, which I think is bad for everyone, including video game developers. This will in the long-term means less video gamers, which means less people whom developers and publishers can rely on money.

I mean, if you want to find what this does, compare the revenue, pay, and viewership of sports like soccer, basketball, and football at the highest level to sports primarily on non-cable channels like Shotime and HBO and PPV like boxing at the highest level. The differences are staggering.

Entertaining the destruction of those you revile in your mind only makes your hate consume you more and more, slip farther away from reason.
Rather, be sorrowful that they're making those stupid decisions. Neither you nor the market is entitled to a good product.
There is no reason in hatred, that is the active seeking for the destruction of something. There is literally nothing to gain.

No sexual fixation. Keep your yaoi fantasies to yourself thank you very much, the bonding we had weeks ago already is giving us sketchy implications.

Good, because I want to keep that out of here=??? Also, how do I give off such implications=??? I'm not the one mentioning such things. Actually, that's the role you're playing. :smirk:

I think I'm entitled to my privacy, so therefore anyone or any group threatening that being hurt for such actions in my eyes isn't necessarily a bad thing.

None of us want Micro-transaction-$oft to be destroyed, go bankrupt, or abandon gaming if they don't go through with all this stupid anti-privacy policies or anything that may cause such policies to be widespread in the gaming community.

No, you're entitled give up your privacy if you choose.
Is someone holding you at gunpoint, telling you to buy an Xbox One?
It's like fourth amendment rights. As soon as you let someone search without a warrant, it becomes legal.
It's textbook business law, in a contract one person's consideration may be refraining from performing a perfectly legal action, and one may give up certain rights, like pro sports contracts restrict players from doing skiing for example sometimes.

Rather, just not give a ****.

And honestly I couldn't make myself care even the slightest bit by having my "privacy violated" by the Xbox One, although I won't be getting one regardless. By this I don't mean I think it isn't wrong, but just honestly admitting that having one around me wouldn't disconcert me at all.

I don't know, maybe it's because I mentioned that angry sex thing and you're the one automatically assuming I'm jamming my **** into a fictional male character.

Pretty sure you were the one that brought up the implications, not me.

It's like fourth amendment rights. As soon as you let someone search without a warrant, it becomes legal.
1. Searching without a warrant is supposed to be illegal, but isn't with certain departments thanks to stupid post-9/11 laws passed by the same guys who locked away and bombed lots of brown people because they're brown.
2. I don't want Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft Windows, Apple, or any 3rd party gaming companies and publishers to start doing this.
3. The fourth amendment is pretty much useless now.
4. I've taken several business law classes, and I'm pretty sure countries with actual privacy laws unlike America protect their citizens from this.
5. Again, this could potentially not just go all over gaming, but in other industries too, which would be terrible for lower income level people.
6. Video gaming is already heavily censored in several countries, and this might get video games banned in these countries.

Sorry, I should have edited in the last part earlier.
My point is is that parties can choose to give up their rights.
And if you choose so, then that's your choice. A party is legally allowed to spy on you if you let them, and they're not a third party, they're directly a part of the consideration and contract of one using the game system/console.
I agree. Much of the constitution has been destroyed by precedent after precedent set.

However, I do agree about the Google thing. Google has been doing some incredibly questionable things.
I feel the threat to our 9th amendment rights to privacy too. It's horrible, but Microsoft's always on camera is nothing.
Even worse, you're right, the government has been invading privacy recently. Have you seen the amount of scandal surrounding the current administration? :3

I do not agree with Hobbe's concept of the "Social Contract" in the slightest.

^^^^^ Google's actions have been straight up turrible. Of course, their whole company is run like they are lead by a few cult of personalities.

As for Hobbes, his theories were overrated anyways. John Locke's ideas and theories were always much better, as were Voltaire's.
Sorry, I should have edited in the last part earlier.

No problem. It's just a silly misunderstanding.

But yeah, the Constitution has been destroyed by stupid laws we enact in war time that the politicians put in to give themselves more power, more money, more benefits, and to give themselves the ability to push everyone who isn't their ally around, regardless of what stupid fake party and beliefs system they hold to and belong to, whether they're a Bush blindfolded follower or a Obama cult member, and/or whether they're an idiot on the left or a moron on the right.

People need to realize their privacy and ability to stay in charge of their government is what keeps their country free, and during times of war, Americans by and large are always stupid enough to give up those powers, despite the fact they in large go against the few laws and regulations our founding fathers so brilliantly put in place to limit the government's power in that regard.

And that is big reason why I co-founded my own party... The Men of Moonknight, to TAKE OVER AMERICA, PUT GUILE IN AS OUR COMMANDER OF CHIEF, MAKE FASTBLADE OUR CHIEF JUSTICE, PUT MOON "MASTER" MONKEY IN AS NINTENDO PRESIDENT AND 50% OWNER OF IT, AND PUT MYSELF IN AS 50% OWNER OF NINTENDO AND THE REPLACEMENT OF SAKURAI FOR SMASH WII U AND 3DS!!! MEN OF MOONKNIGHT FOR LIFE!!! :shades:

Who's getting all philosophical? Seriously. M$ is evil and they deserve to be punished by their consumers for this.

Besides, the more they suffer, the more likely I am to get my sweet revenge and have Banjo back. I might be a little bit drunk right now, but the day Microsoft loses its hold on Rare as a developer and goes third party is the stuff I dream of.

What do I care about ethics? I studied ethics, and they have no bearing here, and I don't believe in karma either.

Karma's kind of a silly belief. If we truly got what we deserve IMO, we'd all probably get struck by lightning on the spot!

Heck, Matthew Hasselbeck had that happen to him twice, and he's an amazingly nice guy!!! :chuckle:

But yeah, Rare's IP's, sans Banjo, are worthless to Microsoft. Microsoft is too stupid to not use Conker, they're misusing Banjo (although still making money off it), and Perfect Dark did nothing for them, and it will do nothing since they already got exclusive shooter IP's in Halo and Gears of War, and few who own an Xbox really have any interest in Perfect Dark.

Seriously, Microsoft would make more money by selling off all the Rare IP's that aren't Banjo or on Xbox consoles off to other companies. At least with Banjo, Viva Pinata, and Kinect Sports (yes, Rare makes that), Microsoft makes money off of those games. Conker: Reloaded didn't sell well, and Perfect Dark Zero sold well only because it was one of the first Xbox 360 titles, and that console literally had no quality title until Dead Rising, Dead or Alive 4, and Project Gotham Racing 3, and none of those are really "killer app" games.

He wasn't referring to karma obviously, but rather spoke of negative consequences on your psyche caused from hatred. Karma is about bad things happening to you if you do bad things, which he didn't mention at all.

Also, ethics applies to everything, considering it is about how we conduct ourselves. Everything we do is a manner of conduction.

Even if Banjo's rights were up for grabs, methinks Nintendo wouldn't be "snatching it up quickly". If they wanted it so bad, they would have done that when they had the chance originally to buy out Rare.

Alternate Ending: That was just a clone of Geno created by Tharja, who eventually dies at the hands of Geno, K. Rool, and Ridley. Better?

"Ethics".
I call them Moral Principals.
lolwatiskarma, the natural laws and their creator will judge them.

Can I be the Speaker of the House?

It's not so much the war time laws, it's been going for years and years, many laws passed outside of that frame. The modification of interpretation of law is done in the judicial system, you know, most of the corruption comes from activist judges who have an agenda with their false interpretation. Judicial precedent paves the way for more and more restrictive laws.

Even I, one of the most 'right' Catholics, do not think the Founding Fathers had a perfect ace with the Constitution. It was a political coup d'état, MANY notable Anti-Federalists were absent during the Constitutional Convention in Philly (things would have turned out far differently if they were there), in my opinion they gave the central government far TOO many powers, allowing it to fall down that slippery slope that it left WIDE open with the elastic clause, commerce clause, and certain 'inherent/implied' powers. The Federalists at the convention all had vested interest in Mercantilismic pursuits, thus interests in giving special privileges to certain merchants they had investment with (and I forgot that thing Hamilton was involved with), they had a motivation and a perfect timing while Jefferson was in France etc.

Er, sorry, we're talking a lot of philosophy and politics here. I'll try to summarize myself kindly.
Hatred is both useless and unreasonable, there is nothing to gain from it, and many things to lose by it.
People can give up their rights as consideration in a contract. Microsoft's "always on" camera is absolutely nothing.
Governance is not a "social contract," and the federal government has far too much power as of now.

Blah blah something about conduction. Silver is actually the best conductor out of all the elements. If a man was made of silver, he would weigh over 1,500 pounds.

WE ONLY USE COPPER BECAUSE IT IS CHEAP. BLAH BLAH COPPER MAN WEIGHS OVER 1,300 POUNDS.

Are you proposing we should regulate all copper wire companies and force them to use silver?

Honestly, anywhere but Microsoft. And that was then rather than now. My personal vendetta is my personal vendetta. We have different opinions, but I don't know anyone here who wants Banjo to stay with Microsoft.

Although I know you occasionally have unusual opinions.

Edit: Can we stop with the philosophy? I studied it a bit in college and all it does now is irritate me. Let's talk about video games again!

It's not that unusual of an opinion, and I said nothing about wanting Microsoft to keep Banjo Kazooie, I just was saying Nintendo's had the option to buy that franchise before, and they turned it down, I don't see them going much out of their way to buy up the franchise.

Silver held back lots of evil spirits in European myths, They also believed it fought off diseases

Back then people were morons. Bloody vikings came in and ****ed up the Romans while they were kicked down, and then civilization pretty much went down the ****ter. Basically knowledge became non existent and people suffered because of it.
