Unfortunately I cannot view the Sonic Lost World trailer due to my phone being a ****, but from what I've read it seems like a positive thing. Apparently it's some sort of re-imagining of the cancelled Sonic Xtreme, or so I've read.

No, we won't be replaced; just for a short while displaced. We'll still find a few threads to call our "own" and make it our hangout. This is what happened to much of the community in the pre-Brawl reveal trailer/2nd trailer/Dojo/new Dojo countdown times.

And even when things go bad we can always just make our own forum (again). I got a few hanging around that I used to run that are inactive that I can recreate if literally the unclean masses destroy this place in the extremely unlikely event that this event happens.

I hope so. One place we can retreat to is the social groups once they come back.

Could also be some big GameFAQs robot, killing us all with stupidity. The E3 newbies? Who knows. I would argue that just as it's not good to have a main hero, it's not good to have a main villain be any of us either.

I bet that the main antagonist of the story will come from GameFAQs; a figure that most of the uninformed will end up respect, but in all reality doesn't know what the heck he's talking about.

Because it's based off Super Smash Bros. and the scene surrounding it. I wonder what the final boss will be?

Funny thing is that Ryu and Ken were the only returning characters to show up in the first version of Street Fighter 3, and they were last minute characters that were meant to be succeeded by Sean. Akuma and Chun-Li showed up in later iterations.

And that ChronoBound even planned to leave the scene after Brawl, but decided to come back eventually

I am curious. What's the longest anyone here has waited for a character to be playable in Smash Bros.?

For me it has been Ridley. I have been hoping for a playable Ridley since 1999.

I didn't start to want characters until 2008, shortly after Brawl's roster was decided. The first character that came up to my mind that I wanted was Mega Man, so him. And the rest is history.

Hard to believe that five years is such a long time, let alone fourteen years for you.

It has no advanced class and it's only ability is "Conquest" which negates weaknesses
