Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I translated that with a friend a few minutes ago and that's what we got.
They've certainly targeted children, but they believe that is isn't really satisfying the public, WHICH I agree with. the Wii U has only really catered to gamers who can buy it, but it lacks a strong games list for many demographics.

I just would like to say one thing about the Roster Prediction Discussion Thread for now.
Locking it was not the best solution, especially if all it's content is just going to be directed somewhere else. Targeting the users who are the problem may have been a better solution. I am very disappointed.

Thank God it was a mistranslation. They wouldn't be that stupid to make more child-friendly games (New Super Mario Bros. 42)
...Another thing I'd like to say is that this would be a bad idea to start going on about. We're certainly divided here and I don't want to start another damn war. I have my personal qualms with some people but I've became a very reasonable guy.

Normally, banned users would have "Banned (x) points" by the name, and when Divine was super banned, it showed next to his name as well, and the banning removed him from my friend list. (kinda harsh, actually)

I think the problem Nintendo has is that it fails to release enough Mario games in a given year.

Well, translation methods have certainly improved since the NES days not to mention languages themselves changing. As well, the expectations of translators have certainly grown higher due to higher degrees and such. Not to mention more and more programs and courses dedicated to language translation. Translation is also pays very well. My fiance, who works at a business as the English Specialist, hired a Japanese-French translator. Her rates was $800 a day and they hired her for 3 days.
How about just keeping this place on-topic, because we just nearly derailed the thread. Now the translation thing is a far more intruiging issue. Let's talk about that!
Personally I believe the first one was wrong.
Certainly thought so. Translations are kind of vital in the world so we understand what others are saying when we aren't bilingual. Perhaps the dust will settle soon and we'll find which translation is correct.
