When do you guys estimate the release date of Smash 4 would be? Please provide a reasonable explanation on why Smash 4 will be released in this time period. Optimistically I'd say Q2 of 2014, but realistically I think the game will be released on Q3. The game looks like it's been in development for quite some time now, but not long enough for it to be released in Q2 nor is it short enough to be released in Q4.

I probably should've said move pools but deciding what moves a pokemon is capable of using is complicated matter in it's own right. I do not think it is a good idea to assume that they could go ahead and implement 400 new pokemon into the game when the most they've ever added is 156. And that was in gen 5 where every single last pokemon was completely separate from previous pokemon. Mega evolutions are likely not as hard to implement but I can only see adding tons of mega evolutions to be at the new pokemon's expense. And seriously, how many "ites" can you add? Omastarite? Forretrite? Tyranitite? You gotta draw the line some where. And yes I would imagine they are, the pokemon team is a finite amount of people with a finite amount of time to work on the game. Do mind that the graphics are completely overhauled and every pokemon has a new model so pokemon battling it self has been updates and I'll bet it's nowhere near as easy to work on compared to the sprites we had in earlier games.

I know the difference between Forum and thread, no need to tell me. I choose to use the word "forum" instead of thread - big whoop.

The Nulocke discussion has it's own website, so everything about "Nuzlocke" should be posted there.

So basically pretty much everything that isn't smash bros related has absolutely no place on this forum. Just because this is not a thread I am supposed to post that stuff here does not mean there isn't a place for it. Maybe I do not want to devote the time to make an account and become part of that forum's community for a topic that I only casually/lightly want to talk about.

Might be interesting. Still won't affect Pokemon Trainer anyway.

He's either getting a new model based upon the latest version from the games, or he'll keep an updated model from the B/W appearance. Likewise, his name would still be Pokemon Trainer anyway, because that's what Sakurai 100% intended and executed in gameplay for him, just a generic Trainer. Even his trophy makes that blatantly clear.

This is assuming he comes back, of course.

No, there is a SPECIFIC forum for Nuzlocke - DONE. I'm not saying we can't post Pokemon or Fire Emblem stuff here, but there is a SEPERATE forum for Nuzlockes. If you post Nuzlocke stuff here, this is the wrong place to put it.

There is a specific forum for smash bros, right here, that does not mean that when I'm on the epic rap battles of history forum I have no right to talk about it. Just because it's a more specific niche does not mean it's still not worth being talked about any where else. Are you going to go over to Diddy Kong's thread in pokécenter and tell him that he shouldn't be posting that there too? -_-' Again, I think this is a stupid thing to argue about

This is a Smash Bros forum, yes. But all NINTENDO franchises are legal to talk about here because they may affect the Smash universe.
Epic rap battles of history? Not even going to talk about that cluster-

Talking about possible characters/stages/etc. is fine, though.

This is not a pure Pokemon thread either. Salty's fully right. Does a mod even need to say this? They shouldn't have to, as the topic has been locked more than once because of stuff like this. They're quite serious about keeping it on-topic. Sure, maybe a small mention of something unrelated to Smash is a-okay. But constantly derailing the topic over it? Nope.

We came dangerously close to getting sent to the "chop block" last time. I was hoping of stopping the "Nuzlocke train" before it would start up again.

Fine you don't like ERBoH well screw you then it's quality as a series has absolutely nothing to do with my point but obviously you were brushing over that so I won't really talk about that
The difference between forum and thread is that one implies that this is off topic in this one thread and the other implies that there is no place to talk about it. When you proceeded to bring up the nuzlocke forum this implies in my eyes that any nuzlocke related stuff should be posted there and there is no place on this FORUM to put it. I am aware that we should not post this here but then again it was a J-O-K-E and thus we shouldn't be arguing about this in the first place. Though to be fair, I could argue that we are in fact arguing due to the given definition of arguing but then we would continue to be arguing!

Nuzlocke is FAN created, not sponsored by Nintendo therefore it is "off-topic" here. Telling me to screw off? Well, that hurts my feelings.

...It doesn't belong in a Social Group now? Or a Pokemon topic? Or even a topic approved by the Administration? Really? Yeah, I call bull on that.

This thread is not about Nuzlocke, or Pokemon specifically and it's labeled as such. And you know, if we can't even have a dedicated group/topic to Nuzlocke... go make your own forum or something. It's not a big deal. It's also not worth whining about at this point. Please get over it and move on.

Speaking of moving on, I really hope we get a new Mario-series(I don't mean DK/Wario/Yoshi either) character for For. Toad would be nice. I'm good with Bowser Jr. or Waluigi though too. Not so fine with Paper Mario or Geno(namely because Geno's third party and would take up that slot... which is limited). As for Paper Mario, that would already be another Mario, and would possibly not even get its own Symbol. Likewise, I'm sure if we could have an RPG rep, they can do a little better, say, Cackletta. Or Kammy Koopa.

What's the deal with the screenshot on Smash Bros. dot Com today? Like, there's a giant flaming "x" on the screen jacking everybody up. I don't think it's a final smash, because it doesn't make sense for any of the characters shown, and the background isn't darkened as much as it would be if someone was using one. Is it an item?? Or did I totally miss something?
